I agree. freerolls are usually much looser than buy-in tournaments because players have nothing to lose. How do you find it and how do you handle it?
What works best for me is playing tight at the beginning, letting other players knock each other out, and avoiding marginal spots. Later, when the field gets smaller and players become more serious, I start playing more aggressively and look for good spots to steal blinds and build my stack.
