Do you find freerolls harder because of the lack of disciplaned players compared to paid tourneys? whats your take? I think freerolls are more all in's for anything at times so playing very tight is likely the best option?

How do you find it and how do you handle it?
I agree. freerolls are usually much looser than buy-in tournaments because players have nothing to lose. You'll often see all-ins with very weak hands, especially in the early stages.
What works best for me is playing tight at the beginning, letting other players knock each other out, and avoiding marginal spots. Later, when the field gets smaller and players become more serious, I start playing more aggressively and look for good spots to steal blinds and build my stack.

In freerolls it is more difficult to play, to bluff, because players don't mind betting or losing all their chips, so you should play for value and with big stakes, to get all the chips out of the villain.
