for a person who don't understand the principle of the game is money and if you Deposit quickly drains all the money in tournaments, not winning is a bonus and for learning and raising their self-esteem because if you take even a few cents it means a growth in the understanding of poker!theresets said:Does anything from freerolls translate to regular low stake tourneys or are they just a luckbox donk territory?
all right but where is the beginners to play as not on free tournaments.MMarshall89 said:Yes and no. Yes because it's free, learning at no cost with the chance of winning. Why not play? and no because like someone else has already said a lot of players play crazy loose. And by crazy I mean if not every hand, almost every other hand in the beginning involves someone going all in. It's almost like playing the lotto. Even if you play tight and call all the "all in'ers" with premium hands, even then you're not always winning the pot. Doesn't mean a new player or low stakes player has to fallow suit and play every hand like that but it's defiantly makes learning the best way to play harder with players going all in every other hand. Granted if you can make it past the first hour or two of that you face more reasonable plays. So in my opinion, it's not the best training ground for a new player, but it's a good(free) start.
