Start by taking the 30-day Cardschat course, it's free, and the content is very good, I'll leave the link below.:)

First 2 lessons in hold'em are ...

1) Learn how to calculate stacks. Do not measure our stack in chips. Measure it in big blinds. Divide our chips by the big blind. If we have 2000 chips and the big blind is 20, we have 100bb. Measure everyone's stacks this way and always recalculate our stack when the blinds raise or whenever we win or lose a significant pot.

2) Learn table position. Always be aware of our seat at the table and we should be playing at least half of our hands from the cut off and the button, the last 2 seats. Post- flop we have advantage acting last (in position) so we want to be in position as much as possible.

Once these 2 things are understood, then we can move on to pre-flop play. This involves pre-flop ranges and learn how to open and defend and even 3-bet and all of the sizings that go with that.

Post-flop tactics become a terrible mess in a hurry if the pre-flop is not played properly, so learn stacks, how to measure them, how to define deep, medium and short stacks, then position and to be in position as much as possible, then learn pre-flop play. Once all of that is done, we can take the training wheels off the bike and move on to all of the post -flop stuff.

Welcome! If tournaments are your goal, I’d start with freerolls and low buy-ins while learning the basics of position, starting hands, and stack sizes. Don’t worry too much about winning at first, focus on making good decisions and reviewing the hands where you weren’t sure what to do. Good luck at the tables! 👊

For sure study pre flop play. All beginners make pre flop mistakes, which compounds to post flop mistakes and will cost a lot of chips. Try to play your big pots in position. Don’t be calling a big raise pre flop out of position. You are just being targeted, because a good player will know you are a beginner by watching you make mistakes. So at first maybe play a little tight until you figure things out, stay in position, and generally just fold if you don’t know what to do. Maybe just play 88+ AQ+. This is a tight range but you should do good with it for now until you start improving and learning. Good luck!

Well, start playing freerolls to learn the basic rules; achieving good results in this game takes time and talent. If you do make deposits, keep them small; if you don't get results, give it up—don't waste your money, you're better off investing it in something else

Absolutely bro! If you're starting out I would advise playing lower buy-ins and to focus more on improving your game than on winning. Your ROI is key to long term success in tournaments due to the nature of their variance. I think it's also important to study ranges for different positions, stack sizes, ICM and when to be more aggressive with your stack especially when you're approaching the bubble. The most important thing is to go over your hands and see what you could've done differently, always take your time and know when to fold. Good luck out there my friend ♠️🔥

I would start with one tournament and not play too many at the same time. Watch how the blinds go up and try to understand when you need to become more agressive. Also dont be afraid to fold, you dont need to play every hand. After the game, look at the hands where you lost alot of chips. Thats how you improve imo. GL
