Is it just me or do you sometimes notice 'tag-team' collusion at the tables???

I recently have noticed that certain players actively team up against me especially if they are from the same countries - It's like they are playing a tag-team game - where they play nicely like soft with each other - but as soon as you enter the hand - they go aggressive and try to squeeze you.. Especially when you are on the bubble and you find yourself in the middle of these two players - they tend to make you calling a hand impossible by shoving in or raising high knowing that your chips are low and the bubble is right around and quickly fold on each other protecting their stack...

I would love to hear about your experiences if you have noticed this or been in this situation....

It's not likely in an MTT because the accounts can't choose their seats. Certainly not impossible. Cheaters are everywhere but that kind of scam works much better at a cash table. In a tournament it's almost a waste of time and effort.

I would say that's a common experience for short stacks on the bubble.... but if you notice the same names "tag teaming" you

on a regular basis game after game... especially while playing soft versus each other then report it and hope the powers

that be have enough integrity to investigate 👍

That's just regular ICM pressure, no?

If you know you're being exploited... then there's only one solution. Stop.

It seems like, you are mainly playing freerolls on WPT Global. Often sites dont care to much about verifying freeroll players, so its absolutely possible, that someone is cheating by entering multible accounts into the same freeroll. But it could also just be ICM-play, where bigger stacks are supposed to go after the small stacks and avoid playing big pots against each other. Since you are playing freerolls, its not really worth worrying about to much. Focus on improving your game instead, so you can build up a bankroll and move up.

I think you see more collusion on the smaller sites, the clubs, etc.

Often it looks like collusion when the villans are making gross icm errors, like limp folding to 1 bb stacks, and folding to a half blind raise.
