Do you see these pay method's as the same or does one put more pressure on your performance then the other ?
For me T$ are just not the same I spend them more easily even if you can get access to real money tournaments with them. It just feels like money I have to spend.

I consider it the same, and I think the games that pay in T$ are easier.

Of course they're not the same as you can withdraw real dollars but not T$.

Although if you spend T$ more easily, you'll definitely help the poker sites more. :)

I usually use the T$ to enter tournaments with higher buyins which I then play very seriously

When playing for T$, I play as if I were playing for real $. After all, you win real $, not T$. Usually, the only difference is that you can't withdraw T$. It also happens that not all tournaments respect T$ buy-ins.

If every tournament I play would pay $T dollars, it would be a problem. But that's not the case for me. Leaderboard payouts are in $T too, they get used for future buyins and don't affect my play at all.

I think that T$ is just another platform trick to keep you in the game. They just add numbers that have no equity at all.

At that point, when you enter a tournament with real money prizes, no one can guarantee that you will win. Let's be honest about that.

Metro it seems that there are players with more strategic deficiencies, so a very good option to bank to play more juicy tournaments I have as a strategy to make $T for Sundays to look for the jackpot

EThis T$ payment method for me would be the same thing as a freeroll ticket, the difference is that you can choose the tournament you want to participate in.

I sometimes play T$ on GG when the field is weaker, but I play the same way as in other competitions, so don't get stuck in bad decisions.

I assumed that players could treat tournament dollars with ease. It's a bad sign if there's no fear of losing money. You get the right to participate in the tournament thanks to them.

for me it's your commitment to the prize, if it's valuable to you T$ then play to be the champion.

It's the same thing basically.
You're playing a tournament when you win T$.... so you use any T$'s won to enter into more tournaments. The only disadvantage for me is that a lot of my time is spend on Cash Tables (where you can't use the T$) but I do also play days where I'm playing Tournament poker.

Unless you are a freeroller and are instantly trying to withdrawal every and any cash you make on a site, its the same as $$. And honestly, I've never understood anyone who wouldn't want to try to make a go of playing real money games (even if it's the lowest of buyin levels) with some of their freeroll earnings.

Tournament $ is your buy-ins, so treat them like you would treat your bankroll. This is essentially your bankroll.

My opinion:
If you:
play in a disciplined way → real $ are better
love tournaments and satellites → T$ are more profitable for volume
From a strategic point of view:
The optimal approach is to win T$ in satellites and convert them into real $ by cashing (ITM) in tournaments.

I try not to put too much pressure on myself when playing with T$, but I do try to remember that it's the same as regular money to avoid playing like it doesn't matter. I do this because before, I was like, "I have T$ and I didn't care how I played." I think you just have to value things to make you strive harder.

if you plan on playing on the site normally even with real dollars it does not matter if it's tourney dollars or real unless it exceptionally large sum.

Yes. That's true. It's much more relaxed than real money, especially your own money.

If you only play freerolls then T$ are worthless to you but if you play any other game even the smallest mirco games and use them first they are part of your bankroll.

If you play tournaments and if you aren't planning to stop and withdraw everything, it is basically the same - you save "normal" $ to pay entrance fee, paying with T$.

BUT - the most important thing about T$ (at least at GG Poker) is that tourneys awarding with T$ are rake free.
