Super Main Event: €5,000,000 GTD | €1,150 buy-in

Hi guys and gals , I have really important question about one poker event and I want to hear all or yours opinions , ideas and experience, because It's the first time something like that happens to me. Now I'm giving you more information, I started playing at Inbet.com about week ago I'm from Bulgaria, and I found interesting satellite where u can win by playing 5 steps ticket.for life event at Rozvadov , Chechia. So I registered and 4 days later I won first place in the last step, which gave me.a place for 1150euro buy in event 😬 First of all that's really scares me, because If I have to travel to Chechia , stay at hotel etc, I have to pay all by myself , second I don't have any experience in live events especially in such as 1150 buy ins ... third if I have an opportunity to not play (which I think I don't have), I would like to take the money as cash or tournament online money or sell the ticket to someone who at.least.want to go. So that's a lot of issues for me and questions and I don't know really what to do. Of course I'm happy 😊 with my play and my result but I am really not confident enough for playing the event either I don't have enough money for travel, food , hotel rooms etc. I'm looking forward to your advices about this situation so I can decide what to do and what are my options indeed. Firstly why did you play the satty when you didn't want to play live?

Well done on qualifying through it though, thats one hell of an achievement.

All you can really do is cotact them and ask if you can take some form of T$ alternative, maybe you can ask for less than the cost of the ticket??

We've all likely done this, where we register for a game then realise its not actually a game we wanted tobe playing, but perhaps not this successfully!

Maybe there is a staking area on this platform like on GG where you can sell some of your action. You could say sell $20 worthof your ticket for $10, then if you get 10 people maybe you can get closer to affording the trip?

Big congrats! I will be in Rozvadov too for a smaller event.
Ist it in August?
The Casino where these tournaments are held is also a hotel.
It will be tricky if no travel money is included in your package.
I don't know where you live but Czech republic is rather cheap compared to where I live.

The Kings Casino is in a small town Rozvadov, where you also can find much cheaper accomodation outside of the Resort.
Since its a small town, you won't have a long way from a B&B to the casino

@alabala you should try qualify for the tournament I am playing .
The satties on GG for that game guarantees packages for that game plus 7 nights in the Kings Resort for 2 persons

This is more complicated than it may seem, I've had a facebook request pending for 2 weeks now, in order to get the freeroll password.

I'm womdering if they have capped the page to 2k followers to limit numbers??

No I think they accept people regularely
Did you register on their website beforehand?
I would resend a request on FB mentioning your email and username you registered with at anygamesir.com

Yeah I did, register on the site and add my username, yeah maybe a 2nd go might do it

I also deleted my request after 5 days or so and resend it with some text and userinfo.
After then a few days I got accepted.

And the freerolls are rather exclusive . I rarely see more than 300 players in their freerolls despite thousands of members in the FB group

I think its a bit silly but they always hide the password in an article on their website.
Didn't find it first but then had the idea to copy the text and let Google Gemini find it.

Nope but you need to be part of in order to be eligible for the freerolls .
Its not hard either . After playing 3 of them , i can see a pattern. Password is always a city name. Not so hard to go from there

Ofc you always can choose to screw the freeroll and buy in for 5.5$ .

I just want to sell the ticket or have some less money than the ticket price itself, because I can't afford the travel, hotel and food expenses, inbet.com said that the ticket cannot be exchanged for T$ or cash, the casino in Rozvadov told me that the ticket is there and if I want I can go and play it's up to me if I play or not. I'm so confused 😕

Ticket prizes are never transferrable.
Im afraid your seat will be forfeit if you can't make it.
Its either playing or not playing. Don't expect any form of compensation

The bubble guy will probably get the ticket. Usually when someone can't make it for whatever reason the next guy moves up and gets it

If that's true I won't , I hope it's not or I don't know I'm waiting for more information about the ticket from inbet.com , I want to participate but I don't see a way right now , can't afford the travel and hotel expenses and Don't believe in myself for winning anything from this event.

Well I have no idea when this super main event is supposed to start. I can't see any 5 million € tournament on their schedule in the foreseeable future.

Maybe you got enough time to build yourself some budget for travel?
And I checked , 1st August is the last chance where you can win 7 nights in Rozvadov plus buyin.
You can already win a 55$ for the direct satty in the freeroll. Other option is the 5,5$ satty

I don't want this, the 5million is later.this year from September till October with super.main event day 1 on 2nd of October and final day on 6th of October it's long tourney not only 1 day tournament u can check in their program.

I see 👍🏼yeah shame you won seat only not a package for this.
Maybe such sattelites will still come ?
It's a waste to forfeit the ticket but Ive been there before..
Won a seat for the EPT Vienna ( where I live) but couldn't attend because I got severely sick a week before the tourney and wasn't fit soon enough...
Played only some cashgame there instead some days later 😅

For me there are two things to take away from this thread and OPs situation:

1) Before entering any kind of satellite, we should always make sure, we are able to play the target tournament.

2) Live tournaments are a really tough way to make money due to travel expenses.

Here the buyin is EUR 1.150, but traveling to the destination and then staying up to 6 nights in a hotel while eating in restaurants or the casino can easily cost as much as the buyin. This is also worth remembering, when a site like Hendon Mop show live poker players tournament cashes. Not only does this not include the tournament fees paid, which is pretty crazy already, but it also does not include travelling costs. If someone is a pro and travel around from place to place to play live tournaments, for sure this adds up to a lot during an entire career.
