I have noticed a trend which is really messing with my head... Like once the weekends comes - I seem to play online poker badly - like I start getting serious bad beats, and I end up getting frustrated towards the evening - when I really have to get my mind right as the big games are about to start. Luckily, I have put a stop to using my bankroll on playing buy-in games for the weekends and decided to stick to freerolls - but these freerolls are very good - but only if I could get somewhere with them.. These days I'm just on a losing streak for those 2-3 days till I get my mojo back on the weekdays when I start finally get some luck, and start seeing some winnings.. I just felt the need to vent that out, and if anyone related to this, I'd love to hear from you...
This is very relatable. Great that you are doing freerolls, doesn't feel so bad loosing. But with freerolls there is somewhat chaotic high variance play which means reasonable player will experience bad beats. And that will certainly bring the mood down even no money is lost. How about taking a break of a few hours before real games?
