I am wondering what are your thoughts on spin&go tournaments on pokerstars.

I am planing to have around 100$ on pokerstars until july ( I am a student so I am kind of short on money, and need to save it for longer time to have decent bankroll, so every help is good if you can help) and I'm planning to play only 1$ spin&go tournaments, and maybe sometimes some bigger 4,40 or 5,50$ tournament.

Do you think this is the good way to build a bankroll or not?

For example I think the tournaments with a lot of players 1500+ are not that good unless you get deep in it. If I just reach ITM i will double up my buy in ( I am around 10% ITM on tournaments that I played until now).

So statistically I think it's better to play spin&gos just because you need to beat 2 players which is easier than to be ITM on tourney, and you can min. double up your money, sometimes you can hit 6$ or 4$ and then your win rate doesn't have to be 50%.

Spin & Go is 50/50, or you can win a lot money, os you can lost everything. I dont know. I think the best way is too play S&Gs with micro and slow limits. Like the $0,50 with 360 people. The 1st place take $33,00 (Something like that)

If you are playing spin and go for $1 try S&G with 27 players for $1,50, its more chips to do the moves and the 1st take almost $13.

Study Sit&Go and you will see it worth :)

But how often do you hit 4-6X BI?, If the $1 is anything like 25 cent in terms of how frequently or infrequently you get a 4-6X multiplier, I would have to say you still need more than a 50% winrate to make it worth it IMO.
At the beginning of this year I deposited $50, plugged away at the 55 cent MTTs and would occasionally play a $1.10 MTT, when I made enough profit from the 55 cent games, I won one of those $1.10 games, now I have 400BIs @ 55 cents or 200BIs @ $1.10, and now I can play the latter with the occasional $2.20 thrown in.

Thanks for all the answers. I appreciate all the tips and advices...and now when I look it from what you said I think I will probably play MTT with $1.10.

And sometimes hit some spin&gos just for fun.

I find there is no one style fits all. You have to find wich games works for you and combine that with proper BRN

Spin&Go is quick game. You must have some luck and good bluffs to win it.

I play the 12 games for jigsaw challenge daily, pattern I've seen is 10x2 and then 2 x4s per session - my pet hate is the x2 they cream a dollar out the game if you had $3 it would be easy to move your bankroll forward, but they know this. It's a gambling game for sure I've seen some serious bad all in calls first hand 10-3 off was a beauty last night #FullHouse

Yes I feel all your responses...when I think about it now, I see that this is just lottery type of game..sometimes I will win sometimes I will lose.

Personally I think I will stick to MTTs and drop occasionally some spin & gos in my games. :D

I like spin n' goes but they are pretty high variance because of the variable prize pools.

Spin and Go is not my favorite because I don't see a big difference in my learning of poker and my cash doesn't move up or down too much. But I consider it is good to raise vpps

i like spin & go because each game does not take a lot of time but it can go either way you can make money fast or lose money fast.

I hate those spin and go , I was losing when I was playing , at the best I was taking my money back , many play loose , I can't play right , a mess . Difficult to hit the big multipliers to try to win some big money . It's very easy for me to go on tilt with this game , I avoid it completely .

Spin and gos are fun in my opinion and most people play them in hopes of hitting the jackpot. If you check twitch and even youtube see ppl play 5-6 spin and gos at a time and sometimes shove every hand as their intentions are not really to play them seriously unless they hit the jackpot or whatever the prime package is that the spin and go is offering. So i rarely play them, my experience in playing for a big jackpot was never successful so i gave up and try to focus on more achieve objects in tournaments and cash games

In the first place it is not necessary to play at the tables more than 36 players and boshe than the $ 1.10 buy-in. You sure small bankroll. I would not have played in tournaments with buy-ins. Before the summer period it is possible to gather up a few $ 100 freerolls if you play on three poker rooms and more.

They gave me free spins when I joined and on my birthday and I profited reasonably well with them but I don't often use my bankroll to play as it just a all in lottery. I try to play regular speed tourneys as then it's more about who can play poker not just who catches a lucky hand.

easy lifting from 0.25-0.50 dollar to three dollars, and then go to a tournament and play, but I don't like this structure

I do believe, that SPINS are more about LUCK then about skill, however they can teach or break you psycho part as there is just too much variance and I found my self just lolling as my AA got cracked with 53o or AQ v Q5 and they rivered 5 .... So taught me to be more patient and to take step back and look at the game from more playing then money prospective.
