You open QQ's pre and then don't cbet and build a pot when we bink a set? I think JJ could be quite likely though, his line def fits.

To hope that MP and Hero stays in and it also disguises a set of Qs, With it being a driesh flop, what can we call with there? When utg with those stats cbets that flop, the only thing i can call with is KK+, 77, 33, and maybe AQ-but AQ is of course quite unlikely.

The 77 hand I think is a fold. The guy seems tight, and as he played it oop, i would play QQ, JJ, 33 and the rare Axss, the same way. I have a hard time believing he has QJ here.

But given villains pfr range and being utg; I doubt its Axss, if it is it can only be AKss.

Actually had a hand very simliar to this 2 days ago.

I mis-read this hand earlier guys, thought that MP check-raised the turn, not UTG. I still like raising the flop obv, as I didn't mis-read that part. I think we can fold to the x/r OTT. Villain has no bluffs, and imo only holds QQ (slow-plays dry board) and JJ (makes a loose call OTF and binks) here.

more conversation!

also I do listen to Acky, I think pretty much all of my improvement since I joined this site has single handedly belonged to him.

even if he is a nit. (and takes unorthodox lines)

You gonna shot it with like 30 bi's?? mad bastard, i have 20 bi swings often enough that i'd cry playing nl100 with $3k, although if u can maintain your sustainable WR this month you should have a good 60 bi's before months end

30bis is my standard shot-take point..

good to know you're a BR nit + a real nit!

+ I don't swing that often, one 30bi+ swing and another 20bi swing are the worse I've had.

back to the hands though!

Looking at the 77 hand it looks like a fold. Weird that he would play QJ like that, whereas I've seen people go into slowplay mode with a flopped top set. He just wants as much money in the pot as possible before he makes his raise. On that flop there is nothing for him to be scared of so I think QQ is definitely the most likely. He might peel with JJ as well, dunno how often players at 50NL are overcalling with an underpair here though.

A6 hand you say big blind calls all sorts of shit and his 3bet is high so if you're beat it's more likely to be K6 or K2 than KQ, QQ. His small turn bet after c/r on such a draw heavy board is weird but that might just be because his concept of bet sizes is poor. He's got enough baby flushes and non-boat Kx's + TJ and maybe AJ or something that you have to call.

77 hand, 9 combo's of QJ + unlikely flush draws v's 12 combo's of JJ/QQ. It's close but I hate folding a set when we're only losing to a higher set so flat and c/f Q/J river, c/c anything else.

There's only 3 combos each of QQ and JJ (since there's one on the board of each), and I also think QJ is unlikely even if suited, since it's unlikely UTG even opens it there, and if he does, unlikely he doesn't lead out on one of the best flops he can hope for with a hand like that.

yeah i'm doubting he x/c's TPOK after I flat the fishes lead since i'm more likely to have Qx myself.

JJ is a possibility but i'm assuming he x/f's the flop 4 way.

so its either QQ or 33 and assuming that the fish bets here with a Q a fair bit of the time that removes the amount of QQ combos he has?

but then in all honesty if he hits bottom set he just bets the flop, so only thing he really plays here this way is QQ.

most retarded line ever from a reg.. lmao

I wanted to fold, but called turn + river to see if I was right for the sake of posting. (I do that a lot, probably a leak)

spoiler: he had QQ (duhh reg, you play so bad why are you at 50NL?)

Its a weird spot mostly because of flop chk/r. We give btn a wide range here, Hands like J9,QJ, KJ, AJ, 99, JJ+ probably a few others. We only have 25 hands but he's been quite active, 25 hands though so doesn't really mean anything.

I'm thinking about it and wondering does he re-raise that turn w/ draws (SD & FD)? or is he giving us draws and is just trying to tid with a hand like AJdd, or other Jxdd or cc with a dbl fd? I believe i can find a fold here but I'm not sure thats really what i'd do. If i decide to continue, the river could further complicate this, and then we are committed.
