what 14/14 with 3b of 6 3bet KJs/KQ vs UTG.

imo he's NEVER light here, I put him on pretty much exactly AA/QQ given his line + timebank reads.

36 hands, we cant rule out him being light, but yea if he were 3betting light those would be the hands he should choose if he isnt flatting them.

Why are you ch/r the turn? The reasons to check the turn seem to be the exact same reasons not to raise the turn once he does bet.

That said without reads turn just has to be a bet the first time.

Not a huge fan of the A4 hand just based on his bet sizing. I think he has Qx+ a lot and honestly he just has Tx way too much imo. I'm not sure he bets Qx that big so you might even beat all the hands you fold out anyway.

AT hand I like as long as you don't overdo it. You have somewhat of a blocker and it's a spot you can expect a nit like that to even fold 2 pair some of the time given that you look a lot like a set or straight.

I thought the A4s hand was thinner but he folds pretty much everything bar Tx. it was probably me spazzing because in my head.. raising > folding > calling, especially when he has semi-bluffs and pure bluffs on that turn a fair bit.. then Qx and KK+ that fold a lot to the raise too.

sizing ok on both? i'm really bad at sizing.

You not think we should just fold the turn with AT there, turn call seems pretty bad no ?

like 80%+ of regs double barrel all the time on the BTN regardless of board texture, calling one street to fold the turn seems like a losing prop

Yeah AT is interesting. What do you mean by some kinda of blocker HMP, what are we somewhat blocking? Not sure what you mean tbh Anyone please enlighten me?

Calling flop and folding turn. Ugh, these spots when we have SDV against a reg who barrels are so tough, and happen a lot. We haven't got anywhere near enough hands to know any kind of reliable freqs on villain. Hmmm!

As for turning it into a bluff, if we're assuming the reg vbets appropriately and bet/folds then this is def a decent spot. However, not sure how often we can assume that.

Looking at this hand has made me realise how rarely I turn made hands into bluffs by x/r rivers. I think it's mostly a function of getting calls from my value hands that I tend not to do it much with bluffs.

I need to examine more spots where I 'always get folds' when I have value hands, and therefore needing to bluff more there.

We have a great hand to turn into a bluff on the river, i just don't think people are barreling enough to make this a good turn call, especially on this run out and we need to be folding some hands on the turn here/have better hands to call again with ???

He hasn't 3bet preflop yet in 50 hands. Not saying that's the be all end all, but it certainly makes it a lot less likely he's 4betting this spot light.

Disclaimer: I don't play these limits, I'm just working with the info given to me.

I'm not saying "Regs never 4bet light" - I'm saying I don't think this player 4bets light in this spot a lot.

We have little choice but to respect a 4bet from a 31/24 who hasn't even 3bet yet even if we are in a skweezy spot.

Hand 1 no reason to bet that big on turn.

Hand 2 no idea why you're raising you really don't want a free card vs. his value range?
