Analyse please.

1) Perhaps this is a check, don't think he can fold a flush here. Decided to min re raise him to induce spew as he plays 87/30.

H1 - he had a J or T right? :( I'd be tempted to GII OTT there, as played I'm checking back the river every time

H2 - seems fine to flat especially as his 4b was so huge and ye you want the fish in if poss, obv nothing to do but shove over OTF and cry when he turns over kings

H3 - I like it

Normally I would have just shipped it OTT as well but I thought I would play along with him to induce spew that he is most definitely capable of.

Had a couple of major coolers today, along with value spewing the river in like 3 different occasions similar to hand 2 where some fish hit a two outer or some shit. Been a sick day.

Anyone here use table selection software, cause I need some advice. I can't seem to get in the volume I want playing fewer tables but when I increase to 8-9 tables I can't focus on the games while selecting tables after the current ones break up etc.

Probs gonna message Deco and see what setup he uses.

Increaze the number of tables one by one. No software will help focus if you are not used to it. I focus very well on 6 tables for an unlimited period of time but with 9 I cannot focus more than 25-30 mins. With 12 tables I can keep a positive winrate only at 2nl:)
Decrease the number of tables again when you move up.
I saw you play on Pokerstars. Use the Easy Seat option. Options/Beta Options/ Show Easy Seat.
You can set up there what kind of a tables you want to join and check Session Mode. If you are not pleased simply close the table and another one with the same set-up will open as soon as it is available.

I can focus fine on 8 tables with my new custom layout saved. The problem is trying to play 7 of those tables while sitting out, joining waiting lists, opening + closing tables and checking how many tables each player is sitting at on a new table.

So much hassle that I lose focus.

Nah I'm running bad getting rivered constantly. These were two of my more calculated decisions. Did I stack you recently Swingro?

And Jake I suppose it's my thought process you want to know (?). I'll tell you some info on the villains and then you can break it down and see if you come to the same conclusions.

Villain in hand one was an aggressive regular (is this you Swingro?). Pretty much all I had to go one in this one.

Hand two, villain is relatively fishy from the few hands I have at the table. Seems capable of folding post flop to Cbets though. I would peg him as a mildly fishy loose/passive pre flop player who is looking to hit flops hard most of the time and play fit or fold the rest of the time.

Go go go.

Can we ever 4-bet this without more info? What part of his range do you think you can beat? I doubt he is 3-betting with anything else than QQ+. I am not so sure we can even flat against a 3-bet from such a nit.

Normally I would agree but the sample is fairly small. Hell yesterday I ran 12/8 over 100 hands. I did consider simply folding but being on a downswing + no sleep in 24 hours ****s with my decisions.

If I had 250 hands and those were his stats then it would be an easy decision, even in my current state.

Dunno...

Edit: Swing, mind telling me your SN. I can enable chat if I see you next time.

My id is aghenitei13. I play 5NL and 10 NL for now. I only beat these lvls for now and work hard to grow my BR because i am a BR nit and i am not mooving up to 25 NL without 100 BI witch could probabely be somewhere at the end of the year. I only play 10 NL when i am at my A game and the rest i play 5 NL because i make money without thinking too much. It sounds crazy but i had my lessons over the years busting one BR after another. So probabely you will find me fighting the fish at 5 NL most of the time with ocasssionaly visits to 10 NL .
Another thing about what you said. Ussualy they are tighter than the small sample shows. You will see how most players numbers slowly contracts while the sample is growing.

Folding could be OK until you know more about him, 40 hands isn't enough to say he's definitely a massive nit, nothing wrong with the way you played it either though imo - you have blockers for AA and KK + his stats (albeit small sample) look a little dodgy at 17/5 + it's a BTN 3b vs a CO raise so might be light or a bluff.

Sexy function I wrote, my poker program is an absolute beast now @ 1600 lines of code and counting :D

Code:
// BEST_THREE_OF_A_KIND FUNCTION ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

void who_wins::best_three_of_a_kind(cards ob, hands hero, hands vill) {

	int trips_kickers = 0;

	if(hero.trips_value1 > vill.trips_value1) winner = 1;
	if(hero.trips_value1 < vill.trips_value1) winner = 2;

	if(hero.trips_value1 == vill.trips_value1) {
		for(int x=6;x>=0;x--) {
			if(ob.hero_card_rank[x] == hero.trips_value1 && ob.vill_card_rank[x] == hero.trips_value1) continue;
			if(ob.hero_card_rank[x] > ob.vill_card_rank[x]) {
				trips_kicker_value = ob.hero_card_rank[x];
				winner = 4;
				break;
			}
			if(ob.hero_card_rank[x] < ob.vill_card_rank[x]) {
				trips_kicker_value = ob.vill_card_rank[x];
				winner = 5;
				break;
			}
			if(ob.hero_card_rank[x] == ob.vill_card_rank[x]) {
				trips_kickers++;
			}
			if(trips_kickers == 2) {
				winner = 3;
				break;

	}

What that program do?.

Man, used to read that been a nit it will never help to win. (i remember Alfie mention that prefeer been a lag than a nit, where is Alfie btw) That 10/8, 11/8, 12/9, 13/10 are BE nits, 3b need to be like 5-6 because 3 is to low etc, etc.

Then see this numbers and make me rethink again on stats, some times spend so much time trying to reach a set number of stats that wondering if is really necesary.
Anyway, this make me feel still have some hope:)

Kanedasun 22 results

I notice how his WR is increasing by level and how is opening his range more but not that much.

( i know you all are 6max players but w/e solid numbers always nice to share.)

It will, when it's finished, be a poker game where you play HU against a computer opponent. Eventually I would like to add some graphics and possibly increase number of players to 6, but I had to start with something simpler.

That function is one of the functions called when both players have the same hand strength, three of a kind in this case, and it works out who has won based on the value of their three of a kind; if that value is the same it looks for the value of the 2 kickers.

Whose nit ;) stats are those? Nice WR for midstakes zoom.

Depends on just how wide he is. Do you think he can do this with draws?
