Yeah, that's what I meant to say, even if that didn't come across.

Still on the 2nl 5k thing - I couldn't find a way to filter for 5k hands - did the nearest I could by day. Did Cafeman win? any other contenders still going?

i would post my graph for the day cause its so lol but im actually embarrassed. Think im getting overly-aggro at 25NL and overestimating my FE...

...either that or Im just not used to Zoom and played too many hands today although i took a lot of breaks. pretty surprised i didnt tilt though :) like i got frustrated but not angry

Nice graph slow hand! Your using pt3 so your win rate is 34bb/100. Yeah Cafe won it with like 60bb/100, then in second place, much to the disgust of the Scottish nation, was Matt with around 50bb/100, you are third and I am fourth on around 20bb/100. Gg, what's the next challenge?

All 2nl tables on 888 are $1 max buy-in. Wtf is that bs. I'm going to be playing 4nl with my $24 roll on there then and hoping not to go bust.

Are they? I played 2nl there until I moved up a month or so ago and I bought it for $2 or 100BBs.

I think everyone should be forced to show all their lines with their graphs - especially EV line. :p

honestly, turn off ev line and never look at it. It's almost always only going to cause problems, either when your winning (oh, i'm just running good) or when your losing (oh, i'm just running bad) when in reality your mostly somewhere in the middle usually.

Also, it's not really an accurate way of telling whether your "running bad" or how well your running in general. Especially as you move up and start seeing wider ranges, it's going to vary even more. I don't have the link, but if your interested, look up Phil Galfond's article about "G-bucks" if you want to actually have something to somewhat base your play off of

Looking forward to it micro!!

Well, just had a solid session at 25nl, and my roll is over $1k, for only the second time ever. It's only barely, but it feels awesome to have rebounded quickly from my recent losses (was down to about $750). I've been 2-tabling for the purpose of getting points for a Bovada cash promo that's running (50nl and 25nl zone), but when 1-tabling my game just feels so good. I've been making lots of good river reads especially, to the point where it feels like the variance in other parts of the game are being buffered by hero calling haha.

I know it's slower, but I definitely advocate some 1-tabling to anyone who feels they go on autopilot. I see a pretty significant difference in myself between 3- and 1-tabling, and even a noticeable change between 2 and 1 tables (though this also depends on my level of focus).

Anyway, thought I'd share :) In before I'm back down to 5nl with a $40 roll or something.

It must be horror to not have a HUD and notes.

It definitely was at first. Then I began to realize how much I over-depended on my HUD. Yes, it is useful, and yes it is nice to accumulate stats over time, but I have a few things to say about Bovada:

- Notes: Technically, you CAN take notes on regular tables. They only last the session though. At Zone, of course you are read-less from hand to hand (barring extremely large, recognizable stack sizes). The most useful time for notes is in tourneys. When down to the top 20% or so I usually take notes on my opponents, since they will last the duration of the tournament. Really helps when you make it to a final table and already know how half of the "unknowns" play.

- Hand-reading: In some cases I feel like HUD's actually hinder good hand-reading practice. That is, we search through stats looking for some tidbit, instead of paying a lot of attention to the board, stack sizes, and just general player type. Obv this isn't true for everyone, but I know it's a factor for me. Focusing solely on the HUD can be bad.

- Bovada is soft: Yep. I know it's been said before, but hooooly cow is it soft. I usually draw comparison between Bovada 25nl and Merge 4nl (though I haven't grinded on Merge in about a year). The softness makes every aspect of the game easier.

- Anonymity is exploitable: Having stats would ofc help me play even better, but I think it would help my opponents even more. I take more advantage of my ability to play unbalanced and unexploitable at the same time. B/c I play Zone, people won't even know if I was the guy who bluffed them the last 3 times we played a hand, etc.

Just a few thoughts.

Back. Thanks for the good wishes people, feeling better by the day.

So, i think going to stick to 6max for the rest of the year, will give a go for this 3 months and see how it go this time.
Probably only zoom though, but just 2 tables, this time want to keep focus more on play well than focus on load any amount of volume, which mean need to stop only playing to acumulate hands, reviewing casually and really take some time to work my game.

Was reading this http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/101/coaching-advice/systematic-training-drills-nlhe-1107105/ i think read it last year but never really put an effort on to it.

At this point my biggest leaks i think are Hand reading and the mental game, so i really want to make a effort this time and stop beeing such a fish.
