Awesome to see micro! Also noticed you won one MORE hand than 1,337... Seems a good sign ;)

Keep us posted, and for crying out loud when you've made 10 BI's at 13.6 bb/100 I don't think you can call it a shot so much as moving up :)

Feel like I'm really growing as a player. I went from $0.22 to about $60 so I think I can look at legitamtly grinding the cash tables now.

I just played a session for about 2.1/2-3hours and finished up roughly $10 so 5 buy ins.
I think grinding the 6 man super turbos gave me excellent practice in multitabling because it used to be I felt my play was effected well multitabling. Now I played 4 tables and it felt so slow and easy I was surfing the web and readin cc threads at the same time.

Anyway I hope this is cashy enough for you :p since its me basically saying im going to mainly stick to playing cash now.

Thats more like it!

Cash tables are probably going to less easy for you to multi-table as you may actually need to make some postflop decisions. Starting off on 4 tables is a good idea imo. Good luck :)

Yeah thats true enough. I think the reason I found 4 tables failrly easy tonight is because the 6 man supers can get pretty hectic when 6 tabling especially when you get several tables that are hu and 3 handed where youre just making so many descions quickly.

Tonight I really liked my play because I wasn't effected by things like my aces getting cracked I was making great descions all arounding knowing when to pot control knowing when I could go for thin value, even picking off a few bluffs with not paticularly strong hands becuse I thought through the betting lines and just hand read really well. I think 6 tabling ring games at this rate I should move up to 5 NL pretty quick, infact I could even consider taking a shot no I think

I'm still thinking of it as taking a shot :D I have 39BI for 10nl now but if I lose 10BI, which could happen, I'm scurrying back to 5nl for a bit. Think I will consider myself officially moved up when I get to $500. That makes me sound like a nit but I don't care :p

$500 should = shotting 25nl imo, especially if it didn't take you a bagillion hands to get there, and assuming you didn't just run super hot at 10nl. But again, we differ on this a bit, so w/e. :D

But 39 BI is NOT shotting. You are a 10nl reg. Not saying you can't lose 10 BI's and decide to move down. But that's not shotting. Shotting = lose a few BI's and not play that limit anymore.

Good job on the 10nl shot Micro!!

I´m doing ok on 6max so far but not great (considering is 2nl )
2013 oct 16 2nlzoom6max

One of the trouble spots for me on 6max is mostly on blinds when i have not a great hand but good for fish range or unknowns BBvsSB, so ended playing OOP and most of the time i find myself on marginal spots with not a great kicker.

Some examples

Poker Stars $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players

Hero (SB): $2.33
BB: $5.87
UTG: $3.14

Biggest issue for me on hands is that find myself lost very easy and not sure where i stand most of the time. But you get so much on this spots on 6max that need to work on them.

Thanks. I'm planning to put in a solid grind today now that mid-terms are over. 1-table zone and 3-table reg tables at 25 probably. I know I'm beating it at a fair clip, and play is sooo bad - I'd rather just get the bit more volume I can to try to get back to 50. But also don't want to go crazy just trying to get hands. Don't think I'm able to get more than 500/hr with that table setup anyway though.

JJ - lol I prob fold just cause he's folded 21 straight hands in a row, so he's at least CAPABLE of being a nit, but wow.

QQ - are we not default gii with QQ pre for 100 bigs? Did I miss the memo? Call river. He's never in a million years betting KK here ofc, and he reps air pretty hard on the flop and turn. If he has aces he's betting obviously, but I'm not convinced he barrels AK huge on the river here.

QQ take 2 - I'm probably 3betting the flop to get him to spazz with like TT, A7, or pair + OESD. But as played I prob x/jam turn.

A2s - Um, our draw isn't as strong as it looks really. Not sure why you ~pot-3bet the flop unless trying to gii? If we're going to 3b to try to get folds though, just go smaller. As played on flop, just jam the turn ofc (another reason to size smaller on the flop is we save more FE for the turn where people only have 1 more street to come). But really, getting that price I see no reason to 3b the flop in the name of fold equity (that I'm not convinced even exists here).

Also, hate to jump the gun, but I played a ~3-hour sessh at 25 today, playing zone, and 3 regular tables, and might have been 450 bigs deep on two diff tables... +8.5 BI's or so :) Roll back to 9 hundo.

Hehe, nice going though, you deserve to get good results.
