Also, seeing some of the PLO swing and how it comes about. In general, from my limited play at micros, if you're swinging too hard I think you're probably playing a fundamentally flawed game.

These guys are getting all in on some serious junk. I'm generally putting my money in as 70%+ so I'm more than happy to take my lumps 30% of the time. However, with that being said I've had a couple monster pots that lost to that 30% equity guy. A bit more variance, but also more $/hour is what I'm finding so far.

If you're getting it in as a 70%+ fave in PLO you might not be gii wide enough. Or they're just that bad

So far, people are willing to put KKxx hands all in preflop, jamming naked flushes v made straights, or sets.

Biggest pot I lost so far was bottom set + nut flush draw v Jx flush draw hitting runner runner backdoor straight without pairing or completing the flush. That was for a little over 200bb

If i remember well even the best hand on PLO only have like 65% equity preflop, so really no matter what people are gii pre we should not be calling often unless have top hands or just want to gamble.

Postflop pretty much is nuts poker or ton of draws with back door draw with overs with w/e.

I start reading about PLO last month and actually liked more than holdem but need twice BR and swings are brutal. The rake think is a issue too.

They say the rake is unbeatable at micro PLO. I saw some pretty convincing graphs proving otherwise a couple months ago, but tbf that player beats 2/4 PLO at a decent clip.

Preflop equities in PLO are always pretty close, even against a range of any 4 cards. The good news is that players always connect on some level and all the fish are going to massively overvalue their holdings or just want to gamble so postflop we have a huge edge, even if we aren't particularly skilled at PLO. Which is why PLO is one big bet game I don't mind limping in. At least in the microstakes games.

I see some graphs too from people beating PLO Zoom & regular. The rake is high but also help to get Supernova faster (on Stars).

The limping is fine because are playing flopability, the 3b/4b wars pre are no so good because the small equity edge pre.

I don't have a PLO tracker so I couldn't do that unless I only played PLO during that time. Sounds fun too, but I should really be focusing on growing my BR, not dicking around at like 10PLO or whatever.

Nah, i also don't have PLO tracker, and you are running bad and probably blow the BR on PLO if we play 10nl+ (and me too).
you should try some day though, when i got the itch i just play like 100 hands on 2nl just for fun and look on stats tab on poker site.

On other things finally get my funds from 888, it take 4 days which was not cool when want to play in the weekend and money just not there,
i guess for usa guys 4days should be nice when could take like weeks or how much time is taking this days?. Stars take seconds though so was not happy with 888.

I mean it stings more when he snap sits out and runs.

Running at 6bb/100 is never a bad session, even as a 10bb winner you will have 10bi downswings fairly often in plo

Terrible news. They have virtually no competition. Prices will go up, or they just won't have incentive to improve their products imo. Even though they claim otherwise in the article.

I don't like seeing the HEM/PT merger. Hopefully they do actually improve customer experience through this though.

Kinda stalled out, but still winning so I'll take it.

Overall a bad thing short/medium term. Long term if they get bad enough maybe we will see someone else enter.
