Honestly I think a set is the only hand he takes this line with other than the nut flush, but again he would be betting the nuts for much more value on the river. To him it looks like you are scared of the flush and therefore if you don't have a flush his set must be good, so he makes a small bet to get called by as wide a range as possible.
One hand that we have overlooked is 33, sometimes he folds the flop with this sometimes he might call, but we can be certain that if he calls the flop he plays it exactly like he would a set. So I think a chop is also a possibility.
Yoshimiii said:Ok, it's a bit confusing scourrge but I think I understand, I think calling is fine then, but still think raising is too thin.
Also how do you think I played this hand from last session, I know you aren't supposed to bluff at micro's but it was such a good opportunity it felt, especially with the flush draw, I think I would have given up otherwise.
Here are his stats hand sample 21: 80/10/0.6

A couple of hands later he started stacking off pre-flop with A/6 multi-way -_-, wish I had that info earlier or I would of just value bet the daylights out of him...
Scourrge said:Do us all a favor and stop trying to bluff 80/10'sBut yeah, in all seriousness, I don't hate the flop raise since he looks so weak, but I would have put him on 2nd pair or worse with his bet. When he calls I can't expect him to ever fold on later streets, so just give up after the flop bluff doesn't get through.
Btw, if that combo stuff is confusing, I can go over a couple more hands in detail like that if you'd like - or maybe an article on combinatorial analysis in general? Some spots lend themselves better to combinatorial analysis than others though, and frankly that was a pretty decent one for it.

micromachine said:Right, I'll just put this one to bed. Agree with you guys that KsQs is pretty much the only flush he can have here making the river at least a call, and given that a set or AK might call a shove, shoving is the most profitable play. In the end I was surprised by what he had: AdTd

I searched you and you were only on 5 when I was on, but you still had time to tap the glass and berate a fish a little bit! tut tut tut yoshi, dont do that
I'll be on in about half an hour after I've put the kids to bed.
orangepeeleo said:Don't look at the avg as an indicator of whether to leave, look at the players to your left and right and ask yourself if you can exploit them, if not then leave.
I use table avgs to pick tables initially but once I'm sat I'll look at the players on the table, for example, you could be on a table of nits so the avg vpip is say 17, but the guys to your left fold to steals all the time and the guy to your right opens noticeably wider in LP but is shit when oop and being pressured. Here we can steal all day and 3bet or flat a wider range otb and make money from the shitreg to our right. Like, its an extreme example and there are prob better tables if we look, but the avg vpip didn't tell the full story because it's very likely we'll still be profitable there
Agree with you peels, i´m not use avg table to instantly get out, is more like a helper after look to some conditions.Yoshimiii said:I think it would just be easier to get pos on the fish and value bet them than go up against regs and stealing. Anyway I leave when table has no fish or it's lower than 24 vpip.
/Logan/ said:Agree with you peels, i´m not use avg table to instantly get out, is more like a helper after look to some conditions.
My process on the table is to color code everyone there, purple to >34 vpip, light blue to 23-34, yellow 0-22 and red everyone with 3b 5-8 and vpip 14-22. So i always want on my tables that the >34 be to me rigth (or at least out of the blinds on 6max), the 0-24 can be anywhere but better on my blinds. I dont want the light blue or red on my blinds, i can live with the light blue but with the red better if is on my rights and not on the blinds. (notice this are numbers for color code on FR need to work for 6max ).
Now after some time what i check is if still have any purple there, if not then is time to leave but because people are always in and out then some times don´t have people color coded because not enough hands yet, so if i don´t see any purple then next step is avg table, i could look to see if still more blues than yellows and what position is everyone but because multitabling then is faster/easier to look on avg table, sure some times could stay with the appropiates people on the suitables spots and still be profitable which i probably gona need to do when playing higher, but at this levels i prefeer just leave and open another that is going to be more profitable with purples. Like Yoshii said is easier-better to look for fish to my right than stay because can extract nits or regs, at the end this is just thin value, and we want the fat ones.
Thanks guys.
