It's not hard work - just a bit you have to do each session. And besides, seeing a person's tendencies with just a color is faster than looking at HUD stats, and for times when you don't need to know more specifics, it's very helpful. Particularly if you want to start upping your table count.

But when you are in the lobby you can't see the stats but you can see the colour coding and know for sure if the table has any tasty fish still playing. It's definitely worth it.

Agree is hard, but it also helps a ton to table selecting, if have 2 or more reds or 3-4 yellows i just skip the table and look for another, if i see a purple no matter the vpip of table i get in, which i could not do with hud until actually enter to a table. And is faster to see a color like Scourrge said.
edit.
And for higher levels table selecting become more important because you see the same players more frecuently, i remember Choppy mention time back that the difference between he and other regs with similar edge on same level was that he table select a ton which higher his WR some points vs others.

Played a session of 16nl and 25nl mixed tonight, pretty bad as I'm not rolled for either stake. Still, I nitted up, it was fun and I came out $40 up. bankroll management resumes now though. Will post a couple of hands tomorrow as there are a few interesting ones :dancing:

Grats on the $500 mark peels, nice present there. happy birthday!
Have the idea you already pass the mark, Micro, Gona be the last one but some day gona reach it, maybe before May
On that line, how many hands you guys think should load on 6max before start thinking on move up?, or no need to wait and is just BR dependant?. Only have 4.5k hands on 6max but 42k now on 2nl and kind of tired of be there.

^^ Take shots / move up as soon as your BR allows it imo
I use Agg % not afq so I don't know about that, but anyways here is my opinion.
Hand1:
3 bet pre usually, call is also fine occasionally. OTF look at his cbet %, I find it weird how he would check that board then call instead of cbetting. OTT call is fine. OTR, I think is a fold if you're going by maths and pot odds. Generally don't want to get all in post with one pair, also getting very bad pot odds. Even though the way he has played this looks like monster or absolute nothing tbh as what hand can he have here? queens full is unlikely, so is a 6 and shoving 6 on river makes no sense. So I would either think he has K high flush/queens full here or nothing (but u never know at these stakes..) I can see why u call and I don't think it's a bad call.

So tilted again trying to beat 10NL. Think im playing okay but ****in running so bad. 10NL isnt the cake walk I was expecting it to be
Anyway, what ur river decision here and sizing. I think its a b/f right 2/3 PSB right?
(2 players)
Villain checks, Hero bets $1.60, Villain raises to $3.20, Hero raises to $13.25 (All-In), Villain calls $6.39 (All-In)
Turn: ($21.73) 3
(2 players, 2 all-in)
River: ($21.73) 6
(2 players, 2 all-in)
Total pot: $21.73 | Rake: $0.98
Results below:
Villain had A
, 3
(two pair, sevens and threes).
Hero had K
, A
(one pair, sevens).
Outcome: Villain won $20.75

Hand 1 is a cooler and hand 2 is obv tilt, just b/f the flop, unless he's an absolute tard but even then I wouldnt say we have good eq vs anything that calls a shove

Hand 1 is just unlucky if he has 10/Q, I am still calling river all the time as he can do it with other sets, two pairs maybe.
Hand 2 is a fold on flop. I have noticed that alot of villains at 10nl love slowplaying A/A all the time and check raising flops.

Also just got leak buster and it has definately helped alot so far!, It gives grading to represent how good you are doing and I got grade A for my poker playing this month, I presume that is good ^^.
Two hands here from last session, thoughts on them?
QT. Im trying to think of other hands that he would raise the river with? He'd def raise AK oop pre, he like almost never has KJ because we have blockers, K9 maybe but I doubt he calls pre. so maybe 99
Think its a fold on the river?

He's in position and loose passive (26/9); so there are definitely weak kings in his range. Don't think we can legitimately narrow his range down to just QT here. Also players like this do flat AK sometimes if they don't want to stack off pre.

You can't fold here ever at these stakes if ur playing ABC unless u have an amazing read, weaker sets do this and also perhaps 2 pairs. Also look at the pot odds.

QT, KK are the hands that beat you. You beat 22, 99, KJ. Doubt he has 55 but hell it might happen. I ended up folding top two to a river raise by a passive the other day on a flush board and he showed AA . . . I think he thought he was going for value. Moron.
But yeah, I would get it in. You beat more hands than beat you.

Hand 1 - fine I think, don't see how else you can play it. Check/folding sucks, and 40/15 fish will call your turn bet with KQ and maybe with Kx hands or with FDs
Hand 2 - wp, the weak turn bet after check raising really looks like he has a weak hand, and he confirms it OTR so a little value bet is good.

No I understand that and I called because of that but is it bad because its a river raise from a passive player in a large pot?
yeah you guys are giving him too much of a reggy raising range here. he's a 26/9 which means he's a fish, even if he's passive he raises so much worse and a bunch of Kx, and its 6max people raise 9x in these spots because they have no clue.
if he shows better you ran into the top of his range, dont doubt yourself.
