Fold pre. Your going to be outkicked a ton w/this hand against a TAG. It doesn't really flop well either, as again, your going to be making a ton of 2nd best hands, tpMK etc.

Been playing 10nl 6max recently. Was 2 BI down after 2k hands last night, though EV was break even. Didn't really feel like I was playing great though. Looked at my cbet % and found my flop cbet around 70% and turn cbet around 30%. I was playing tight generally but I think too loose from button, and win rate from there was very low.

So I've decided to cbet less on flops, and follow through with turn bet more. I think this may be one reason I did quite well at lower limits, and struggling at 10l. I'm winning 12BB/100 today over a few hundred hands.

This was a strange hand, didn't have many hands on villain. Good fold or not?...

Don't cbet the flop when you miss if he's gonna call with any pair (which I think he maybe can in a < 1 SPR pot). Obv tough to know whether he does or not though. Is he hand-reading at all? Cause idk if he's like "he must have an overpair here" and capable of folding.

Don't hate 4betting pre, but it could be a bit smaller imo, since his 3bet is already large. My 4bet+ game isn't in tip-top shape or anything, but I think when he 3bets us we definitely don't mind just flatting IP.

Tbh I get a bit lost in spots like this though, so don't listen to me haha.

Fold per? Maybe it's me but Not sure folding to a tag co open with a hand that plays more than fine ip as well as the amount of times tags play very straight forward and just fire one Chet and gives up every turn he misses or x/f flops giving us tons of times we can stab and take down the pot.

If we're out kicked we are going to pretty much straight away.

This hand made me struggle. On the flop it seemed like no one had 2 clubs, maybe I should have bet more then, it did seem like one of them had a high club though. So maybe on the turn I should have just checked behind and crossed my fingers no club came on the river? I was never gonna call the river obviously...though I did take about a minute to triple check I hadn't hit a boat.

Well, if you know his cbet flop% and turn cbet % ...that's different, but this hand doesn't really "play well" postflop. When I say "play well", I mean if you were to flat here w/45s, then it's pretty easy to play postflop, bc were either going to flop big or totally whiff. QJ is going to look good on a J42r flop, but if villian fires flop + turn, I doubt were folding TPMK to often, although were going to be smashed by a TAG's range in said spot.

Were going to be outkicked when making top pair w/QJ like near 100% of the time v a TAG. If your looking to float flops bc certain reg's only fire flops and not turns, play more hands like sc's which are able to float much easier. If villain is just going to cbet flop then c/f turn, having hands like top pair isn't what were looking for. We want hands with zero equity and turn them into a positive equity play. Also, hands that have backdoor equity are good to float regs who we know are going to cbet/ c/f, bc then if they do have a nut hand and fire turn as well, we will have equity against said hand and can bust them on good rivers.

Middle set on a monotone board, I x/raise it BIG and GII on the turn assuming flush does not complete.

Hmm did think about shipping on turn, guess wasn't sure one of them was slow playing 2 clubs.

Raising flop seems okay, but I would usually just call there with 3 to a flush. Once his bet size is weak on turn again it's unlikely he has a flush. Wouldn't min raise flop though. Getting it in will usually only result in flushes calling you, unless villains are big fish.

Why are we checking river on hand2?, are villain too aggresive and assuming gona fire when we give up?. Are we not losing value there on times villain check back?.

Nice to see you trowing shots on 16nl now.

I'm really not a fan of hand 1 tbh.

Assuming villain is unknown, since you didn't post any reads, calling w/A10o OOP v an unknown UTG raise is not going to be good for us. Were behind most of his UTG range and when an A is on board, were going to be outkicked most of the time. In the hand above, what was your thinking on each street? I'm not sure I like the call on flop either, as villain's cbet range is literally his entire PFR UTG range....which dominates us haha.

Logan:
What's he calling pre-flop and on the turn that we think we can get value from in a 3 bet pot? Not many hands, Any high card with a king is very very unlikely. A queen is unlikely, so the hands that he is gonna have there most of the time are K/K, Q/Q, J/J, 10/10, 9/9, 8/8. If we bet the river I didn't think that J/J and below would pay us off with 2 overcards to come so I decided to check as I didn't want to get raised by Q/Q, K/K. And I called him because it looks like he has a set or nothing and as we know it's pretty damn hard to make a set :p.

This was my thought process at the time anyway, really didn't wana get raised OOP on river.
