Erm do you default 4bet QQ OOP? I don't really like it unless he's a maniac and you think he 3bet/5bet-ships junk. His range IP OTB is likely to be polarized and not necessarily that strong side-weighted. I think we get too many folds and narrow his range to mostly hands we're flipping or losing against when he does flat or 5bet. I don't really like turning QQ into a bluff.

No I don't default 4bet QQ OOP, but vs this LAG verging on maniac I would be happy to GII pre flop. I was basically 4betting for value, not turning QQ into a bluff , I figured he would call my 4bet or 5bet with a lot worse than QQ.

Obv QQ isn't the best hand to do it with cos you hate Aces OTT but I felt I could get more value here by checking. When he checked back I was pretty sure he didnt have a K and that I was ahead, which is why I called him down.

I'm never folding QQ to a lag here. I'm sure he bets the flop if he has a King, get it in and expect him to show up with worse a lot of the time.

Although, I don't mind that passive line on the flop because it's so dry and if your plan was to let him spew turn.rivers like he did. He likely thinks you don't have a king on the flop, a lag also doesn't really check back a K so probs thinks his 8 or 9 is good and wants to play for stacks.

I really should read whole post first, sorry didn't take into account him being aggressive, a check is probably better OTF then.

I just played a hud-less 5nl session '1 table' on my gf's puter and I think I played quite well...finished up 110bb's, and was reading the table pretty good....I think its maybe a good idea to practice without a hud to stimulate your mind more and prepare for live games....I enjoyed it......anyway yeah I would like to see you make a hud-less 1 table vid, sounds cool, will be interesting to hear your thought process and see you play

Ok. I'm not making any promises but I'll try to get on that. I miiight be able to do a vid tonight, if my voice returns a more (have been over-working it so it's gone a bit).

Nice one, just do it when your vocal chords feel better, no rush....haha, no need to feel anxious, just play your normal game the way you would do it without recording....if you try to entertain and play fancy then maybe it won't be as helpful for any of us...and ya never know it might help you out with your live play with doing it hud-less....worth a shot

Hah I don't really ever try to be fancy tbh. And speaking my thought process aloud usually helps - will just be fun the times when I am clueless about what's going on

And yeah I have considered doing some hud-less practice to help with live play, but it's frankly just so different. Live you get to see a player and get a feel about him. If you take a HUD away online, you're only left with betting patterns, and not the additional info you get from being face to face with someone. Plus if you play HUD-less it completely limits me to like 2 tables max, which is a helluva grind at 4 or 10NL.

Do you use HM2? What I do is right click on the hand and choose "View" and then "Copy to clipboard" after first choosing the format to be "cards chat" from the drop down box to its right. Then I just paste it in here, le voila!

Yeah they have something on there called BoutiX or something, and after you get 3500 you can exchange them for €40, I've done it once so far. Not worked it out, but it's bound to be pretty shit compared to the lolrake I pay at 10NL. Not complaining though, it was a free roll starter after all.

Using HM1, i "Copy to clipboard with stats" but then need to go for a hand converter page, i use the deuces cracked converter but no 4 colors. (Cardschat converter say can show 4 colors but always tell me wrong format). So Hm2 now paste here without need to convert hand? cool.

The Boutix thing is like a vip program on the site right? (like stars where can change fpps for $ on the store), but was asking more about straigth forward rakeback pay it by week or month. I think read some sites offer like 40-50%RB on Ipoker, that´s why wondering if you get some of those deals, but read it some time back, not even sure if those still exist.

Oh yeah, I can't get rakeback officially, it's not allowed for French players (well, you know, players who play from France), or something like that. So I have no idea tbh. But yeah, directly from HM2 in the way I described works a treat.
