Yeah I figured shoving would only get called by better (flushes and better sets) whereas with a smaller vbet I can get value from KK, AA, AQ, KQ, QJ and get flats (hence saving myself money) from better sets and non-nut flushes.

Well, he still had 10 outs, so it happens every 4th such game.
But every time such thing happens to me, I need like 1-2 hours break from poker.

My routine is quicker and can be done without sitting out from my 8 tables.

It goes something like this.

"Noooooo, why me, it's always me, they always get there, I hate poker, I ****ing HATE poker!!!"

Then I stab myself in the leg with a fork (on my desk especially for such occasions) and then I get right back at it.

I can't remember whether that was in Elements of Poker or Mental Game. One or the other I think. Works for me anyhoo.
