Depends on the situation.

I don't play for money. I believe that in pot limit no, in no limit there may be situations depending on the villains, stacks or actions, yes I would fold.

It all depends on the situation. You need to watch the tournament, its stage, what is your stack, what is your position, and what your opponent is. If it's a freeroll then I won't fold kings preflop. If there is a bounty tournament and you have chips in the stack, then the kings are in play. If on the bubble, then I will most likely throw off, hold out for the prizes. I need to look at the situation again.

Eu nunca desisti, mas já perdi algumas vezes, até AA ... então se fosse um grande torneio eu pensaria duas vezes

That make sense, i don't play many satellites but I'm sure you're right
Normally I won't fold kings pre flop but in this situation easy.
It's all depends about situation.

Let's say you won some nice satelite and now you're in bubble you're short stack and you want to be in cash to make your roll bigger.

I will never fold pocket kings or aces preflop regardless of the stage of the tournament.

Don`t overfold KK...even against AA we still have 20% chance to win...

You need to protect your whole range too (UTG Range / 3 bet Range)...

2 or 3 times. Last it was in ITM. About 105 left. But i had about 1.5 middle count of chips, action was: i raise preflop with KK, next of me +2 Reraise, and BB is pushed about 30-35bb... If I had taken it then and lose, I would have very few chips left... But is was only about 105 players left, and i fold. Next after me +2 called. And he had KK too !!!.. at bb had 88 or 66 , i dont remember. But BB won that round with worse hand (set on river)... And because of that fold, i finished about 20 place. After me+2 left about 105... And BB left about 70+/- place.... You should check your position and time....

I've done it a few times, but always at the beginning of a tournament, (usually the first hand). The reason being, is that a number of years ago, someone asked Howard Lederer what he would do if he got aa in the first hand of a tournament. I'm not a Lederer fan, at all, but what he said made sense. At the start of a tournament, you've got a long game ahead of your. In lower buy-ins, the beginning of tournaments (especially the first hand), are all-in fests. If you're late to act pre-flop, and numerous others have gone all-in before you play, fold. Someone is going to get lucky, and beat you.

As the tournament progresses, and there are less players, things get more serious, and you'll still be in the game. Why risk going home early?

For me, it's tough to do, especially when you're looking at aa, or kk, but think about it....in a tournament, you're still going to get them again, at some point, and you can make much better use of them.

no, never :), maybe if there is a raise and a re-raise in front of me I would think to throw kk or maybe if there are multiple all-ins in front i will throw :)

I would never fold pocket Kings pre flop. If I am up against aces then so be it and that's a cooler. However, to make a habit of guessing if people have aces and folding Kings as a result would result in a loss long term in my opinion.

If it's on the bubble, then I can easily fold KK preflop. And so, in rare situations I fold KK, I don't know, maybe it's a mistake, but that's how I play.

No way. Even if there is a raise or re raise i will call. And if all in ill go all in.
KK vs AA. King may appear on a board making it a three of a kind and winning. Then again so could Ace. Take the chance!

Tourney - I will answer this question the same as the same question this week about AA pre flop - this depends on my position at the table, my position stack wise and also the dynamics of the table and whether we are at bubble point or not. SS - i would obviously never fold but with so many players these days playing any ace rag and ace suited - discipline can often make the difference between a deep run or not.

Cash Game - im playing KK lol

I don’t think there is a time I’m folding AA or KK in a cash game. In a tournament it might happen depending on the situation at the table.

If I was in a tournament and close to the bubble, I would fold KK if their were a couple others already allin preflop.

Would you ever fold KK preflop

I was playing a cash game one day 1£ - 2£ in Torquay casino

been playing a while

one player played a larger than usual about 5 blinds pre flop bet - long time ago

I looked at him yep he s got a good hand probably Aces he looked too happy and content

so I watched him some more and yep I was certain he had aces

so I looked at my hand - I look at the players and last of all my hand,:) pre flop

yep I had KK nice but....

so my plan call and if I don't hit KKK I fold.

that's the way it went sure enough he had AAs - he told us all about it since no one called.

if he had raised big preflop it was a definite FOLD from me and my Kings

Regards
Frank Jones

Few times and many times regret not folding them. In zoom games its very common to get KK vs AA. Actually when ur kings raised allin preflop in Zoom games (NL5, NL10, NL25) 95% of the time u playing vs 3 types of holdings: AA, AK or QQ.

I folded it yesterday. After my raise, the opponent made a 70 BB all-in re-raise.

If are more then 2 players allin it is a easy fold. I lost with pocket KK many times and vs A3... A9...A10.
