I think that everybody plays poker to get rich.

But when I think it deeper I realize that I play this beautiful game not only for the money, but also for the freedom that comes with it.

I have the typical job from 9 to 5 and I really feel that all the efford that I'm putting in it it's a waste of my time. And when I play poker I feel alive!

I hope someday I get lucky enough to become a pro. But I dont expect to get rich quickly. My goal is simply to win half of my salary in poker so I can quit my job and dedicate all my time to study, and get better so I can live from this sport.

i dont think anyone starts playing poker to get rich, that would be foolish, i think you start out as amusement and as you get better and more knowledgeable and more confident you can make some money. maybe not enough to quit your job but enough to keep playing.

Well I play poker to cover some loses from black jack and rulette and some irresponsible gambling . But I don't think I do it to get rich .I haven't invested that much so I don't expect for it to bring such gains . But generally I would love to make a living by playing poker .
