How many hours can you play?

I can play from morning to night, with a short break. I really like to play poker, especially if you go far in some tournament, it gives you energy. But unfortunately, there are rarely such days with free time.

How many hours can you play per day?
It´s not easy to play correctly if I´m tired after work or house job.
Because each person has the limit to decise thing.
Poker requires us to decise each hand (4 times or more).
Therefore, it makes me tired after games.

In a casino I can sit down and play for a long time, like minimum 12 hours, up to 36 hours. What I like to do is sleep until 6pm go to the tables, play from 7pm-7am, take a hour break for breakfast and head back to play till supper, and then cheat and sleep from 10pm-5am then hit em at 6am while they are all tired and stuff from playing all night.

Sometimes in tournaments you realize that you have completely lost Focus after a few hours and play really bad by then.
Unfortunately you cannot simply leave as in a cashgame.

i've played a tourni for 4-5 hours I think and made it to 5th, but I've spent practically the whole day on a weekend to play poker on different sites in different tourni's so I guess its dependent on how much of a lover you are of the tables and focused you can stay among other things!!!

But live, there used to be some friday or saturday nights that I only went home when the last game broke. Could easily play 12-24 hours if the game is good, though most of the time 4-6 hour session would feel about right and not too fatiguing.

I typically try to keep my poker sessions last apx 1 hour before taking a break. I used to play long sessions however after switching to shorter games I have found that I enjoy playing more.

I am new to the game and trying to improve . So these past few days I am completely hooked into the game trying to win some freeroll cash. I can play all day long but the quality might not be the same after an hour or two.
