Thanks c9.
I have tried 6max for like 1k hands at 10nl and the same at 25nl and I tink I lost 4 buy ins at each. I just don't know how to play it..

I am going to try something completely basic next session:
Bet when I have the obvious best hand, check when I have a draw, fold when I have nothing. Steal from BTN and let it go every time if they 3bet. When being 3bet after opening from MP and EP, fold unless I have QQ+ or AK.

That's just way too boring, and probably wrong. Don't stop bluffing altogether, just do it less. Poker is a balance between value & fold equity, and if you're ignoring the fold equity side of the game you're making an obvious mistake. The best answer to any poker question is always "it depends". So my advice to you is, instead of just not bluffing ever again, start analyzing the factors that you should be considering when you bluff.

C9 your analysis of stats + playing patterns is excellent, reading your posts makes me realise how much more I need to learn about the game and need to widen my knowledge about these stats.

speaking of WTSD numbers, I'm at 28.5% at FR and my W$SD is still 52.3%. I think a lot of nit regulars fold way too frequently on rivers. People, especially bad players like to bluff stupid amounts. Of course its all situational and board texture generally dictates when they will be bluffing (missed FDs, SDs, etc), but I've also noticed donks randomly potting rivers with like middle pair when they have showdown value.

Where does one take this survey?

They send you it via a third party survey company, I got one today but the question seemed to be geared to why I wasnt playing there anymore, although I am playing there alot now.

Yeah, this is me exactly! I'll be sitting there and watching some idiot bluff everyone off with crap and then when I get something like a set of Q's he shows up with AA on an A high board.

I have no idea how to judge a graph that's in big bets/blinds ..
? Look at the area of your graph between hands 9,300 and 15,000. Clearly, you've played smaller stakes in this area, so the $$ graph will not show you an accurate representation of your performance. Why? Because the cards don't give a damn what stakes you play.

$$ graphs are worthless to judge performance over various stakes. I can lose 20 buy-ins at 5c/10c, take a shot at $2/$4, win a buy-in, and my graph will look awesome. Up $200. Yeeehaaahh! Of course I'm actually down 19 stacks. Which the big blind graph will clearly show.

Pretty sure this is actually the opposite problem, as your SD is positive but NSD is negative.

well, you certainly play very different styles as your NSD are mirrors of each other.

hard to say beyond that. you're lucky in all-in pots. That's about it.

can anyone help a hold em manager retard out? would be much appreciated

every time i start importing on stars, i get this pop-up warning:

"Please note that you have 1094 hand history files in your auto import folders and this could cause performance issues. Please move files no longer in use or have Holdem Manager automatically move them after import by editing your Auto Import Folder settings."

i'm pretty sure it's slowing down my computer. how do i get HEM to automatically move these files? when i go to configure auto-import folders, the only options are to delete a folder or create a new folder. or how do i move them myself?

Okay, what would seem to be the problem then? I'm studying almost 2 hours a day, posting hands in HA, and trying to turn known issues around but I'm still getting my ass handed to me!:(

Like enty said, I can no longer put this off as bad luck (ldo), so what do I need to do?
