I don't know if it counts for playing a trash hand, or more a combinations of having a good read of the table and playing trash
hands. But, for instance, if there's a raise and two cals before me and I'm late position, I have frequently called with 89 not suited and ended up winning the pot. My theory for this is the previous players have all the good cards in their hands, so there's a better chance for lower cards to be dealt on flop, turn and river. So in this particular situation I have played 89 not suited and frequently won.
