What advice can there be? The main thing is to keep an eye on the bankroll. Do not try to take revenge on the player who won against you. You don't have to win right away and that's it! Be careful, any pocket pair can lose! And anyway, all these tips won't do anything. Unfortunately, a person learns from his mistakes.

Well, I would say many things because, in my opinion, one learns more and more with time. But the most important thing is not to let the game overwhelm you and pay attention to your loved ones. Bet as much as you can afford and keep learning the game and never give up because poker and winnings are all about patience and persistence

I would tell myself that you don't stop laughing because you grow old...... you grow old because you stop laughing. So have fun, enjoy the ride and don't be embarrassed when you get caught bluffing because it's part of the game.

15 years ago, I would have advised new players to train a little and not be afraid to push the limits, because the fish pond was so big.
Now, I would advise the newbies not to get involved in the whole thing, to spend their time on other hobbies.

What would I say to my beginner self?
I shouldn't take the game too seriously, because just because I've read a few books, I shouldn't think that the other players have too. :ROFLMAO:
And so I shouldn't wait for some SPACE GOAT poker at the table, even at the level of a few dollars ... it took me a long time to understand this. 😂

By my private opinion, Main advice for new players in Poker, this is to play by bankroll and only on own money, which not to pity to lose! That's it!

If it's a hobby, just have fun and be happy. If you were looking to earn money, study, study is lucky, and be patient, in the long term you will see your performance.

I would recommend beginners to improve their skills by playing CardsChat freerolls. At least for me personally, our freerolls helped me a lot to become better, as our freerolls are played by quite skillful and experienced players.

I think the most important advice for a beginner is to be patient. This is a key factor and beginners who will understand that patience is very important will have a real chance to achieve good progress and development in poker.

After the classic 'patience' admonition, I recommend that the pursuit of victory never becomes an obsession.
You can't always win, and slaps also have a positive effect because you can learn from them.
Failures are also necessary so that a person can stay on earth and develop through them.

Regardless of the strength of your hand, pay close attention to the other players, (so only play on 1 table) because tight players are quite likely to come into the pot with only very strong hands, and it is very important to learn what hands to play from different positions.

Be patient, be observant and trust your intuition, your gut feeling.

Don't beat yourself up over mistakes. Put each mistake down to another step on the learning curve.

Trust the odds, trust the numbers, trust yourself.

If you could go back in time to your first experiences playing poker, what would you tell your younger self?

One that I would share and wish I had learned earlier: Pay close attention to the words and actions of the other players at your table (live and online). A big part of this game is "playing the player" and not just the cards in your hand.
I have two messages. One for myself and the other for really new players.

myself - be more patient and don't play if you don't feel like it. Play only when you'll enjoy the game.

to new players (aspiring to be pros one day) - study poker all the time, train your brain for most situations, be patient in game, learn from your mistakes, find a game that you are comfortable at, start from freerolls or with microstakes and play with at least 200BB and if you lose it all, turn around and do something else in life to make money and play poker only for enjoyment.

If I could go back in time and tell my younger self who discovered poker at the age of 15 years, I would say this:

1. Patience: as in life, everything that is worthy demands a lot of time to be built. With poker this is even more true. Patience, patience, patience is key. When things seem to go wrong, just calm down. Your bankroll will not grow from one day to another. It will take a lot of time.
2. Keep going: it does not matter if you study 15 minutes a day, keep consistency. You are still a teenager, and you can go really far if you don't stop, or if you don't supress your dream even if you need to apply yourself to other things, but poker can remain, just don't eliminate it from your life for any period.

I don't know how much of a beginner you are, but I would say, always study, play tournaments that respect your bank and always take notes on your openets!

Hi :)
If I were just starting out, I would like someone to give me very simple, elementary advice. "Don't play with junk".
If someone had given me this advice when I was starting out, it would have saved me a lot of time and effort :)
Good luck :)
