Pocket pair's do less well the more people are in the pot. While AA tends to hold up the best naturally it is still susceptible to this rule. That's why people have a lot of trouble playing AA in my view, they try mask that they don't have AA by flatting and get to many callers.

I feel most people think when they have AA they are invincible. But they are wrong. How many times have you watched a player keep calling despite a really wet flop, turn and river, when the player betting into them is screaming they has the nuts and still they call.. only to turn over AA vs a straight or a flush. In truth this is a leak I sometimes have in my game.

Remember it is never a mistake to go all in preflop with Aces NEVER!
It is true that it is not a mistake, only if everyone fold, there is no result.

I think there are situations where you have to cheat a little. Although, this may not be the best word for it.

There only one way to play AA in that’s all in. But I think we all have lost the big one with AA before an wish we could get that one back.

totally untrue.....
againts one other random hand AA can win up to 85% of time..... my states millions of hands is 82% so i play AA well overall....but more important then ANY 2 CARDS is POSITION period.... so its me ISOLATING opponents or ideally one opponent with aa i like 3-4 personally but then its about position and the flop and the table....

its better to continuation bet and take down the pot 3-4 villians then to continue and take a beat !!!!!

each player you let into the pot shortens your odds of AA winning.....

when you KNOW you have played 10k hands invest into a HUD

review your hand history you will be surprised imho if not surprised again your playing wrong.....

work with a group to go over hands watch others how they play winning players

i can say for a fact 1010 has won me the most money at important points in a tournament in my BIG tournament win history and QQ both ways me or vs has been my nemesis but both are close too how it should be when I play them overall

just a little below top average

i find i overplay kq offsuit is one nemesis and ak at times can be ak though hits right over a major amount of hands

kq is something ive overplayed and lost as last hand too often and it shows in my stats i overvalue it ;)

do your research AA should win for you 80% but you have to be ok winning a little over it holding up all the time
that is poker, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose but 7times out of ten AA will win

And here today is if anyone doubts that I have the least luck with the ace pairs. Although, maybe I just played it badly. If I go pre-flop allin, I might be thrown away by some, but like yesterday I wanted to make too much money with the "good" cards.

LOL! How does a thread like this get resurrected twice? I believe that is a better topic for discussion, instead of the "reason" why one individual person "always" loses with AA.

*Spoiler alert* He doesn't!

Enable the cash out feature on Pokerstars. Play cash tables or zoom. Any time you get AA go all in. If you get a caller (and you will sometimes), you are guaranteed to be ahead, so just cash out at the reveal. A lot of the time I've found I would have lost at the river without the cash out. People have laughed at me for cashing out AA, but I've proved it is the wise choice.

It may seem like you lose more than you do because you are much likely to remember the big losses rather than the small wins.

Hi There

Something is wrong with you
Maybe you can lose with AAs from time to time
but most of the time is a winning hand
Sure there are a lot of fishes that will call you with 22 or worse
But you will win big part of the plays

Probably it's about our human nature, selective memory. People remember bad outcomes because negative experience is more useful and important for living and surviving.
However I believe that win with pocket aces way less than 4 out of 5 pots which would be fair statistically.

And what about statistics? How can you lose every time?

online poker can be a very frustrating and aggravating game. You're seeing three times the amount of hands you would in a live game in the same time frame. That increase in volume will make the bad beats seem worse and more frequent and brutal.

Yes, by the law of big numbers, every losing pair must have a winner. For an infinite number of games.
It is also true that we generally do not keep statistics on ace pairs.
But it's so good to complain and read a little that others have similar problems.
And this theme seems to be eternal.

AA can be beaten. Don't think when you get AA that the victory is there. Of course it is unlucky to keep losing with them, but I think you are exaggerating. Next time you will win with them ;)

Try not to be results oriented. If you got your money in ahead, you're doing fine. Aces won't win every time, but it's the best hand in NLHE for a reason.

This is something that most players have trouble doing. Once the hand is over they over-analyze to think they shouldn't have done what they did since they lost with AA. If you are getting your hand in good with the best hand you can get before the flop, that is all you can ask for.

I think poker doesn't matter what your pocket hand is. It is important how you acted on every street.

That was trolling, right? I hope so, because if someone builds his life according to horoscopes, then he is a slave.

ya i recommend going all in, but idk cause i win like 80 percent of the time with aces so depends. any hand can lose at any time got to remember that. i find understanding how a site runs helps u win more than skill lol. not that skill isnt a factor but you got to work the system.
