I folded QQ because of flush. Somethimes you have to if you dont want to lose. You just need to think what could have other player if he raise you or reraise you.

I always let the betting dictate when to fold the high pair. I have won many hands with a small pair so AA or 44 it's the same to me.

Totally true. If you dont have strong hand it is better to fold.

It depends a lot on how the opponent plays, note that the opponent could also have a sequence. This is a hand that is hard to give up.

This might be happening a lot recently, but do you remember when the opposite is happening, no. Coolers happen nothing you can do with it. Just keep playing well.

Gotta throw in this quote here

"Few players recall big pots they have won, strange as it seems, but every player can remember with remarkable accuracy the outstanding tough beats of his career."

I totally agree with you! But I am concerned that a particular pair of Top violates the law !!

Oh man, I hate these spots , I would prefer it if you were low stack and forced to go all in , well then sh** happens , but if this hand is played normally , it's a nightmare .

I mean , how can you escape , no overcards on board to make you think that he might have a hit , no 3rd flush card , straight hit is not an option if you have made the right reraises preflop , you have the position...

I guess this is where an experienced player will make the right moves , meaning he will check the stats of his villain, he''ll compare the moves to the previous table image and game , he'll know when to stop betting to save some chips or he might even make the great hero fold .
I , ofcourse, like many, would have gone all in , have no this experience , but I'm trying to play better these spots :) .

I wouldnt go all in with QQ if i have decent stack and if my opponent is very tight cuz he can have KK or AA but also can have AK or AQ and flop an ace so i would 3bet QQ if i get called i would see the flop if there is and A or K on flop i would fold. And also depends if youre in bubble you dont want to be the bubble boy so if there is an all in and you have smaller stack dont call with QQ just fold get ITM and then start playing

I gave examples when the river came opponent has any cards that allowed him to beat me! The percentage of loss with this top pair in my case more than mathematical laws!

when i read this I thought you were going to show example a queen nine

so to speak a top pair queen with a weak kicker and was going to explain your problem as being your kicker but but but

I have no advice for this? Unless you have a magical ability your going to lose some hands like this run into aces vs your queens and no matter how good you play your going to lose.

MOVE ON no sleep lost on this one

Folding QQ as top pair is always difficult but I think it comes down to knowing your opponent or watching betting patterns. Did he raise or reraise pre-flop? What did he do post flop? What did you do post flop? Analazye and make the necessary adjustments.

Yes, the game with members of our website is good! But when you're playing well, and the river does not come to you - sorry! Yesterday's final table! After the flop, another solution was not!
Fffffffffff

I agree with you, it is very difficult to get rid of such a top pair! And I again and again to tempt fate by playing it!

It's definitely very hard to fold a top pair, but if you try to calm your self and take a little bit of time before starting to push or call, then it can help you alot. I fold more to when I see straights and flushes on the board but many times people will be lurking in the darkness with a set or two pairs so also take into account peoples betting sizes

its allabout watching your opponents bet patterns and willingness tocall, if after the river you raise which is the right move try checking and see where he bets..

It is very difficult to reset these cards, they do not come so often!
