How to learn to fold top pair?

all pic you guys upload is so sick hand..!!!! but for me its easy to deal when you lose but you shoved it in prefloop bcouse fold thats hand in online poker its very hard and the time bank you get for think is only 2min max so i prefer go big or go home..

best way to learn it, is by not doing it. Maybe you get it some time, maybe you don't. But if you tangle all the time in that situation, it will distract you.

depends what type of game you are playing.. super turbo or turbo... If you have no information about your player and you have 20BB in a fast pace game i don't think you can avoid an all in with top pair

Yes, you need to part with the top pair when the opponent can have a stronger combination on the table! It's better to lose part of your stack than to stay without all the chips that are available! Thanks for the advice, unfortunately we learn from our mistakes!

The only reason to fold a premium pocketpair (QQ+) preflop for me is when you go descently deep in a tourney, playing with the same 9 (or 8) players for quite some hands. If someone tends to be pretty tight and shoves 15+BB, I think you should fold TT to QQ (KK and AA is a call no matter what)
Folding KK preflop is only something to do if you are on the bubble with an average sized to short stack. When a thight player shoves for more than 85% of you stack, you can fold KK to avoid bubbeling. If you have a real short stack (like -8BB) you should only fold premium hands if there is someone even shorter and likely to bust before you

It is never easy to fold top pairs, but if you get beat a lot with top pairs.... you'll start learning how to fold them eventually. Experience will teach you how not to look at your top pair cards, but to look and analyze what your opponent might be holding.
I still get busted by playing these top pairs blindly but i know i will learn to fold them more often.
