I think that for playing cash games this is a strong hand, it is very difficult to throw it preflop

I would say it depends a lot on your positioning and whether or not the villian is playing most hands very aggressively or if just plays he's premium hands that way. If he's playing most hands that way I would definitely try and shove him. I'm sure you would play AA or KK if you had them. Without knowing what the villian has AA KK will win you the hand nearly 85%. JJ is only àbout 8% less likely to win you the pot.

I'd say it's rare for me that JJ is a fold. Maybe if you are really deep stacked and in a great position in the tourney and facing an all in for all your chips by a tight player, but in most micro cheap tourneys which I play facing a raise and 3 bet by typical LAGs and with say 15-20bb, I'd shove. A lot of the time you'll be facing AQ or AK or even 10 10 or worse if you get called and you'll have a chance to double/triple up.

My man! Since you do not open fold JJ pre, don't mind the tough spots and sick setups you get into!

When you get used to handle pressure, you will call sometimes and see flops, some other times you will 4 bet shove the Button 3bet. And still fold many times, like to the UTG 4bet shove (when you have +40bbs) or to a nit's 3bet!

Anyway, I wish I can give some advice, but I am not sure about my level in poker!

Gl at the tables!

It seems like you are playing scared poker, either because you have suffered a couple of beats or because someone is running you over at the table.

JJ is a strong starting hand, but it looks prettier than it actually is especially if it doesn't improve. I recommend playing it similar to 77 through TT. It's worth a raise pre-flop from any position, but if you're facing a 3-bet and then a 4-bet, it's probably best to let it slide into the muck. Don't get too attached just because you have two faces.

I am nobody to discuss the strategies that professionals like Zeros or David Diaz take out, I am only a follower of strategies, but I am not stupid either

These types of strategies are very popular and if we know them it is very likely that the villains also know them.

This has not been the work of bad luck, it is a fairly clear trend. The villains have discovered our game, at least my game !!! Pokerstars is the most competitive room in the world so don't be surprised

I will not recommend changing the strategy, with those hands you should continue looking for all in because paying 3bet or 4bet to play triki trying to "catch" the rival can cost us more expensive because in the postflop the villains will try to control the boat with very good hands as overpairs of JJ, QQ, KK giving free cards and only paying our probets (OOP, the villain gives chbh and we bet)

no good

I think you show strength right away and try to get out the weaker hands.
I had jacks yesterday and i raised, everyone folded but a loose fish.
he beat me on a runner runner flush .

I think everything will depend on the position in which I am at the table, the amount of chips I have and against which opponents are playing. Personally, I think it is a medium level hand with which good results can be obtained if we can play it with caution.

It is tough to do but I definitely have folded it pre flop. Especially in a live cash game.

Yes, of course, this is not such a strong card to go all in.

Depending on the situation every hand is foldable pre flop besides AA

I've folded AA quite a few times preflop. It's been in satellites near the bubble. Still AA to the muck, tho.
Insta-fold as well, w/o a second thought or thinking for a second.

Depends. If you 300 000 chips and you make small raise then someone go all in 300 000 its normal to fold.

Here's a good video on how to play JJ. I've watched it a few times and pick up something new each time. Enjoy guys, lemme know what you think.

The information we have at hand is fundamental ... Table position, whether it is a tournament or cash table, size of bet and pot, characteristics of player who raises the bet, etc. I usually have a hard time folding JJ.

It depends on a lot of things like, position table, size of the bet, players in the game and a bit of you knowing the player who raises or reraises. Then you need to consider all these things and take the best option

For example, on ACR, if you are raised by someone high up on the leaderboard, folding ASAP is your best option. Otherwise 4-bet and if you are called or raised, then fold before the cards hit the felt. If you’re not playing on ACR you have all your GTO options available.

Play JJ in position as you would any other good hand, but remember it is just a pair.

Fold to a strong 3bet, because you are likely against (at least one) over pair, or at best a coin flip.
