Anything over a 4 bet I would fold or a re-raise over x2.5 , I fold JJ. Other than that, I want to see the flop. its regular game push easy.

As you know, JJ is an average pair. It's not worth the risk. You can try to play this pair on small bets.

Hello friend, it is true that the answer is very wide, since it depends on many factors, you are playing cash, tournaments, your position, your opponent or if there are more people involved in the hand, if it is for a 3bet, 4 bet or more maybe ... as I told you before it is relative depending on many variables, but the truth is that in my opinion the truth is that it is common to throw them pre flop, but after an examination of many or perhaps more of the conditions given that I mentioned earlier ! (sorry for my bad English) good luck at the tables:)

It's normal to fold JJ in certain situations, but it's not something I like to do frequently.

it's normal, in some specific situation I can even fold KK or AK the hands which in my opinion much stronger than JJ. But everything depends on the current state in the tournament and your position

It'is nothing special to fold JJ preflop especially when some player play aggresive nevertheless it's big chance to catch bigger pair then JJ however you can still count on J in a flop.

If you have lots of raises, for sure you can fold it. It, better to fold it, and don,t see against you hands like AA or KK.

I ended up folding twice for the aggressiveness of the opponent

It is really situational dependent. JJ is considered a premium hand but I play them the same way that I play TT. However, they do gain value if I am against a hyper aggressive opponent who is raising and 3 betting a lot. You know they are playing a wide range and JJ will do well against that range. However, if I raise and someone who rarely raises 3 bets me...I feel more confident either folding or calling to set mine with them.

I used to go all-in every time I had JJ preflop if necessary. But it hasn't been a good decision on alot of occasions. Now it's to the point with me that i will scarcely risk all my chips pre-flop on JJ. Im not much of a fan at all on that hand lol.

POSSIBLE

There are a few reasons to fold JJ preflop...

1. Payjumps
2. BUBBLE
3. if there are 4,5(...+) bets in front

I never fold JJ on the preflop, poker is a very not predictable game and unknown your opponent bluffing or not, need risk to win:).

How does this work for you?

If you are not low stack, I don't see any problem in fold a JJ.

It is not normal but it depends if you got it all in front of you and it depends on the feeling of the moment ... the money you have in mind, at what point of the tournament you are, you depends on many factors

Did you have any idea of the villains' tendencies? What were the possible scenarios after flop? Do you have any idea how the stacks affect the action? Do you just call to see a flop and hope for the best? If you are going to call all in, why you just don't play it aggressively yourself from the beginning? What else... Mmm... Do you like butterflies?

if sometimes it is to try to get more opponents to leave and thus not to collide with many opponents and lose with a more devil hand since they will almost always go hands with good projects and if one acts very step and does not raise the bet more will enter the game and according to the amtis of the flop your good hand will pass a marginal

jj?????

I have no problems folding if i pickup on players method of play, and perceive strength, but just because he raises doesn't mean best hand, it can mean many things including protecting small pairs.

Depending on situations - too numerous to mention - it's not only normal but mandatory. Nobody ever advances and moves forward in poker until they learn how to fold big hands when they're beaten. At the lower buyins and freerolls there are very few players who know when to fold. They overvalue hands preflop, can't let go of top pair, and on and on and on. Sometimes they win in the short run and even for longer stretches than that but in the long run, they will lose and be forever broke.

Yes, I like butterflies:stupido3:

You forgot to ask me why I don't fold :jd4::jd4: preflop?;)

Really by posting my hand I want to say that nobody can't know what hand have villain until showdown and no matter to fold JJ pre.

Well, I wouldn’t say that this is normal ... it all depends on what happened on the flop .. if there are aces or kings .. then you can still believe that the opponent has cards in his hands ... stronger than yours ... but sometimes you need to know measure ... and not be a buffalo

I wouldn’t say it’s normal to fold JJ preflight, it all depends on what bets are out, chip stacks that are in and positioning, it’s never bad to fold a hand means your in 5e game for another round, I wouldn’t fold jacks only to a massive raise, or a massive stack size,
