What do you like most or in which way do you make more money, playing more tables and lower stakes or playing just one table but higher stakes? Personally I like just playing one or two tables at a time, but I dont really know which way is the best

i try to mix in games and play six at one time on multiple sites the range is want them worth 100 or more if possible on the guarantee. Cant always find that and im all over map on certain times and days. I will play buy ins up to 25.00 so I am probably not a normal person to ask this question.

I am just comfortable playing this way and the biggest thing for me is simple. I deal with some of the fluxuation of the games and variance by playing more games. This makes things come out fairly most of the time for me.

I usually play more tables, but I always make a distinction between one or two more important tables and the rest.

The other tables are just for fun and taking care of me not playing stupid hands, it keeps me sharp to fold all the weak hands, it reduces the temptation to play too many hands.

For me it seems to work, but it can change over time or with other variables.

I totally agree with you. The more tables you play, the less possibility is to lose, because you play just with really good cards.

I think that playing zoom tables will give a similar experience in terms of hands delt. For me, playing at multiple tables distracts me and takes some of the fun away. When I do it I try not to be more than 4 and never mix cash and Turney tables.

freerolls i used to play about 4-5 tables and then still be watching a movie. real money i only play 2. You don't want to divert your attention too much. As a beginner play low stakes and one table. Get the feel of the game first. As you learn and grow you can play more than one.

I would like to play several tables well, but I am being more profitable playing at most 2 tables at a time.

I did sessions of 4 simultaneous tables, not being profitable, I lowered the value and number of tables

If you put them side by side is easier (that's why I only do it on the PC) but as others have said, it could affect your concentration.

Usually I play 6 tables or 2 tables of zoom. For me it is optimal. The number of tables does not affect the quality of the game and profit.

It all depends on how comfortable you are. You can try two tables and see if you are confortable at that and then 3 and so on. I personally feel comfortable playing two tables at a time.

I play low stakes one table, playing multiple tables will make lots of mistakes and it's not profitable for me

Prefer playing on one table, need more concentration on one table to play more functionally.

In the question of playing several tables or playing one very many nuances, namely: is it a regular gaming session or a game in an important event, your state of health, how tired you are at the moment of the game, psychological make up, whether you are playing for money or for entertainment. But even though there are a lot of factors involved - playing one table - you will always play better than at each of the four tables if you play at the same time 4. If you just started to play and get acquainted with poker, the answer is only one - play one table , Enjoy and learn poker.

The main question here should be how experienced poker player you are and do you have any experience with multitabling. The second question is also important as there are player that play for many years, but they never tried playing on more than 2-3 tables. It's proven that playing on more tables in general minimizes the factor of luck and increases your EV. However, if you don't have a lot of experience playing on less tables is the best way to go. For me I am quite used with 10-to-15 tables, but sometimes when I don't feel very energetic I play less ( although I shouldn't play at all).

Multitablening more effective then 1table game cause theres more probability to win on one of plaing tables, but you must watсh the game for all of thems and giving more attention to that, where your game is more succesfull.

Playing multiple tables at lower stakes could be more rewarding then playing one table at high stakes. The higher the stakes, the better poker players you are going to encounter; playing several low stake tables at once will give you the opportunity to go up at against some of the worse players.

Playing more tables does minimize the luck factor but it does not increase you EV, your EV will be lower at each of your tables. If you can keep up with 15 tables then you will of course win more then one one table but thats beacuse of quantity. I myself play about 6 tables and are lisening to podcast. If there are lots of fish I can play 9 tables but I deffinantly see a differens in my game at that point. When I have moved up stakes I generally decrease the amout of tables. (12 at 2NL, 9 - 12 5NL and 6 - 9 at 10NL). There are very few people that can play more then 6 tables at mid stakes and make a profit and those are very experianced players.

I think it depends on how aggressive you are. Anyone can probably work their way up to 4 tables or even more (like some play 10+) but if you're playing a lot of hands your focus is elsewhere. I think if you want to move up in stakes but multi table, then start at 1 table then 2 with one lower stake and work your way up from there. Theoretically you can make more money by multi tabling because you play more but only if you can focus on them. Don't overdue it or jump in too fast just because you see pros playing a bunch of tables!! I play 4 tables at lower stakes and then play 1 when I move up and work my way up like I said earlier :)

Oh yeah, if you don't have a HUD you can observe the players and take notes on them the less tables you have.
