Sometimes poker sessions are very tiring. I like to watch TV series or anime. What do you like to do?

In most cases, I watch football matches on TV and evaluate the performance of teams that I plan to bet on in the future. I often bet on football, as it is a source of additional income for me. This way, I combine business with pleasure

I try to keep it minimal. Sometimes light music or a podcast in the background, but nothing that steals focus. Poker decisions need full attention—once I start multitasking, my win rate definitely drops.

I rarely play poker online in total silence. I usually have music playing in the background. Depending on my mood, I may enjoy techno or house
music if I need a consistent beat while I am playing. I occasionally put on film or video game soundtracks since they help me concentrate without
being too disruptive. I will also watch some educational YouTube videos on a second screen if the session is more laid back. Most of the time,
it deals with markets, finance or economics. It makes the time seem more productive and keeps my mind occupied while I am waiting for hands.
That said, when things start getting serious, especially when i am close to the money or deep in a tournament , I shut everything else off.
No videos, no distractions, just the game. At that point I want to focus fully on every decision and every read.

If you’re playing many tables at the same time, like eight or more, I wouldn’t recommend doing anything else besides maybe listening to music.

But if you’re playing only a few tables, like I usually do and like many people on the forum, then I’d recommend watching a poker stream, a video, or even some sports to make the session more enjoyable. Of course, it can take away a bit of your concentration, but it also makes the time pass faster.

Sometimes I only have one table running, so doing something else at the same time becomes almost necessary.
