Do you do anything else while playing poker?

Sometimes poker sessions are very tiring. I like to watch TV series or anime. What do you like to do?

Multitasking is not advisable while playing poker!
Any other additional screen, be it mobile or tv will kill your game and bust you out!
Even I used to have distractions but strictly started avoiding them due to lack of positive results!
A coffee or small snack in between seems fine!

If I participate in several tournaments at the same time, I don't get distracted from the game, but if there is one tournament, I can watch a movie or play a video game.

I sometimes listen to music, but mostly I watch the game and don’t get distracted by anything.I think many successful players concentrate only on the session they are playing.

I usually treat poker as part of my free-time relaxation, so I don’t mind doing a couple of things alongside it. I might drink a beer, watch YouTube bloggers, or chat with friends while playing a few tables. It keeps the game fun and not too stressful, especially during long sessions. Of course, if I’m deep in a tournament, then all the distractions stop - that’s when full focus is needed!

Yeah, poker sessions can be mentally exhausting. After a long grind I like to completely shut my brain off. It helps me stop replaying hands and reset mentally. Anything low-effort and immersive works way better than trying to “stay productive” after poker.

When I play poker, I rarely find myself focusing on just poker. All the time I'm doing something at the same time; listening to music, watching tv, scrolling my phone, cleaning the house, taking walks. But that is just the "daily" poker; freerolls and such. When I focus to some important tournament, then it has my full focus.

For CardsChat freerolls, I will generally have a Youtube video running alongside until (and if) I get to the final table, then it's full concentration on the game only.

Besides poker, my other passion is billiards. I've been playing billiards for over 20 years, I play pretty well, and billiards partly helps me pay the bills

It really depends on the game to be honest - usually to relax, i have headphones on and i listen to all types of music, i used to watch TV but thats too much of a distraction.
