A hand I played a just a mo ago... Well, I’ve been DoubleTap diverted on my sorryway here lol... (That damn, North by north, north-east bell aye lol😅) The villian I attempted and successful got him to fold his pocket 7s or 9s. Possible they were smaller but regardless he was beating my 6 when the dust settled at the brim of the water.

Sorry haha, serious head just slapped myself...Anyway, back to notes and tags etc. Ive come across him a few times and seen the exact same order of play so I exploited it. His Overbet on the Turn told me he was Semi bluffing, didn’t hit the Q (Overbet on Turn is a trait), the J he made no attempt to protect, and most likely holds a pocket pair that beat the 6 of my missed Flush Draw. Unfortunately, the tanking and speeds of his decisions also factored which I unfortunately can’t explain as the moments are past and I can only express my analytical perception in the instances as the hand evolves..... Hmm, might have to acquire myself a dictaphone again. Enjoy 😎

Colour Xode - Thief, Bold Note - Fish, with an entry saying - Excited when strong/snap decisions.

Happy to answer any questions 🤷‍♂️ Oh and before asked I’m not, crazy is a matter for your perception.... Though I’d happily accept its contrasting implications of genius 😝🙈

Damn, distracted as I finished the above post.. At a minimum a pot on the river was being called by him ffs. He snapped his bet in fast than a speeding bucket on the turn lol... I was like gotcha haha. Oh well, when we meet in future he will apply caution so I’m free to chase draws with added bluff potential. Riverboat will have to be good though as a small bluff won’t work if his stronger pre or on flop. Film I think good night 🤟

I took notes for a long time . Then several years ago ACR/BCP did a software up date and they disappeared. All that data gone ! Very frustrating , so i gave up but still color code some .Note well : for the most part , i also quit playing any cash tourneys and ring games on WPN too ! freerolls only now , unless i win some kind of ticket .

I take notes, but only of players who do a big action on me, for example, he takes half my chips with bad cards, or when he eliminates me / steals big pots...

Here on the river you checked to him so he can bet? If you bet the river he would call only with better hands then you, I don't think that he called with the hand that he had, right?

He definitely calls if I make a bet on the river, I have more hands to show that because of how ive played them prior they expect the same and/or tilted. I have 3 hands over maybe 7 hands from earlier that you could follow how my actions altered his and how he trapped himself when tilted

As for the river, after his snap overbet on turn I knew I had him. I was distracted by a post I was writing and a conversation on messenger, I definitely should have fired the river, he possibly pays off an overbet. The raw stats are less than half the story, there is more to be understood in a hand by being witness to it unfold. I can tell by bet sizes, tank time, reraise amounts etc to pinpoint what’s going on very fast. Aim going to make a thread later and start my attempt at no logic poker lol. GTO is merely a schematic, and it’s nit of your own

I'll make a note of someone's play if it impresses me or if they really make bad moves repeatedly. Usually something like:
$3 SNG/NLH: dcnt plyr, slw-rlr, flpd set
Or...
$3 SNG/PLO8: complete fish
I will add a color tag to the player, as well. Usually, a shade of blue for positive players and green for less knowledgeable players.

What’s the "rlr" mean? I assume his decent because he slow played them well? That’s far from the tag I make lol

I don't take any notes while I'm playing. But I'm thinking about starting to do that. But laziness gets in the way.

Only about how loose the other player is . I will tag him with a colour appropriate for him . If he plays in a very sneaky way , if he plays constantly with RNG , if he plays bingo in freerolls by playing trash hands . But it's hard if you have many tables open to watch carefully the action and take good notes .

I particularly prefer to have titles in colors and sort by them.
I find it more practical and within the game I need to make few adaptations.

Hello brother

At a time when he wasn't on Cardschat he had @Grtitz18 in red because she hated him.
Now that Cesar is my brother, I took him out of the red because I love him very much because he drinks good wines like me. kkkkkkkkkkk:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

A brother joke to qualify.

Seriously though, I do take notes all the time.
Opening plays, if they limp.
I do consider them recreational because of the way they play.
If I enter a hand and for example they reraise 3 bet or something like that, I mark what cards they do it with if I can see them.
In Omaha, which is my favorite game that I play on a daily basis, I generally mark aggressive players who play good hands.
And those who pay with any combination to see if they are lucky.
I also mark the players who insult, these players are hot and you can get a lot out of them.

I only tag my friends with the color orange.

My regards, brother:giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle:

I was wondering if you guys take notes while playing or you guys make some notes on players when you review your hands? And if so, how do you do it?

Do you write on the notes field, do you assign a color for every type of player? And also how much of a sample do you need to take a proper note on someone?

I use notes quite a lot and sometimes they are a source of very valuable information. A member of our community suggested a very simple and straightforward classification system that I use. Perhaps such a classification system will be convenient for you.

For me personally, I have found that the more often I take notes, the more successful I am. Consequently, I also find the desktop version more advantageous in contrast to the mobile version, as you can also color-code the players there. The more I see poker as leisure and fun, the less I mark and the more often I make bad decisions.

I don't always do. But it's really interesting to take this habit because in the final stages of tournaments if you read these notes you can play better and with more confidence

Yes, I usually do some with the use of colors, nothing too fancy, but I think it helps to make some decisions.
