I have been playing for about 7-8 years. When I first started, poker was purely for fun and I was skeptical about the possibility of making money. Then I realized that thanks to poker I could earn an income, and then I had the idea that I might well become a professional. But after a few years, I realized that in order to earn stable and normal money playing poker, you need to work very hard, it is very hard work, and that's why I gave up on this idea. There is a huge list of jobs where you can earn money much easier than in poker. If money is your main motivation, you're better off just finding a good paying job and becoming a professional in that field.

I disagree with you dude, it's not that hard work, especially if you like it. It's easier than swinging a sledgehammer or pleasing idiot bosses in an office for 10 hours a day. Poker gives real freedom, that's why it's so popular.

I've been playing since 2020. I started playing for fun, but pretty soon I realised that poker could bring me money. I started looking for freerolls and came across our cool CardsChat freerolls. I became a member of the community a little over 1 year ago, and actually since then, every month I've been earning extra income from the game.

I can win about 2 dollars an hour playing freerolls .Big money ! ACR + BCP have daily and private events . Everygame gives away tickets , Replay has Cardschat community freerolls, VIPs, and all the anniversary ones going on now .Its hard work, requiring full concentration and clearly not worth the bother and frustrartion, yet I keep doing it .

It can be done, but for me I couldn't live off my winnings from Poker, Mainly because I don't invest enough time to the game, I have always used the experience of On-line Poker as a training tool to advance my Live Game play. So basically even after 20 years of playing On-line, it is just a Fun Hobby.
Playing in Live events has given me the chance to travel a little and make some extra cash, but again I don't take it seriously enough to make a living from it, I realised from a Professional Friend that it is Hard work and not an easy way to make a living, He actually is jealous of my lifestyle, because I have a Wife and Children and a decent attitude towards my poker game, He on the other hand is in his 50s still single, and likely to stay that way,
Being a Professional Player is not a Lifestyle I would want, because it is not always Champagne and Pretty Girls. Sometimes he has been so low on finance he has slept in his Car in between games, I prefer My own Bed.
