there is no clear answer to the question whether online poker is rigged and therefore everything depends on the level of thinking of the player.novice players mostly think so because to show the result it is necessary to play a distance.in turn, each poker room is fighting for the integrity of the game and to ban auxiliary programs-bots

Rigged or not. You shouldn't trust it, never deposit a penny if you can't afford to lose it.

I don't think they intentionally cheat when it comes to engine hand generator. I don't think you can compare any engine to a real life shuffle. But I don't think that's the main problem. The problem is how shady and scummy they are when it comes to cash outs...they had no problem taking your deposit immediately and it's available for you to go gamble with it.
When it comes to withdrawals, it's like pulling teeth, they're always experiencing high volume of withdrawals, or some other issues... stalling, not paying out or blocking accounts.

Hi Vikv89,
Which platforms have you had this kind of experience with?

ABSOLUTELY NOT RIGGED UNLESS YOU REALLY BELIVE IT IS

I saw your posting and thought this might help..

If you're wondering if Online Poker is Rigged, you will not find answers except from within yourself . There will never be anyone who could ever fully answer that for you. What matters most is how YOU FEEL about it. And, if you "feel" suspicious, if you're not 100% confident, then RISK ONLY up to whatever your 100% CONFIDENCE LEVEL IS FOR YOUR FINACIAL PARAMETERS. In other words, if your not confident about the integrity of the game, at least BE CONFIDENT IN YOUR GAME STAKES. Your comfort level playing online may never reach 100%, BUT if you enjoy playing the game, at least be comfortable with whatever your bankroll permits. That may be a lower stakes game then you might play in a "live" setting. Or, it could mean that you play ONLY tournaments or smaller cash games. Whatever changes you have to make which allows you to play more confidently within an environment that feels uneasy to you, will liberate you.

So, if that means lowering your risk until you become more confident, that might be the only real answer you ever get, and that answer comes from you.

Your question about the integrity of online poker may never actually be fully answered by anyone, but you can enjoy the game to its fullest potential if you play within your financial limits and play with 100% confidence in yourself. .. So, if that means lowering your risk until you become more confident, that might be the only real answer you ever get, and that answer comes from you and only you.....I sincerely wish you good things and hope this helps..

Currently with ACR. Others in the past... carbon poker was one of them, also lock poker comes to mind (they're long gone now)

Is online poker rigged

I'd like to think they make enough from the rake. It is easy to blame them for losing.

How about Bad Beats. I suck out once in awhile compared to 25bad beats. Or is it Beets lol

I've lost to bots so yes it's rigged. A poker site should not be running their own bot programs to take real money from clients! Plus, I can't help to think my pocket rockets always losing to some weak hand like 10/5 3/7 going all-in pre-flop is a coincidence, or I get an Ace for 3 of-a-kind only for that card to complete their straight and I lose.

Ok, thank you.

It's unfortunate but there is always a chance that these online platforms can be rigged in some way.

I only play PokerStars so I can’t talk about other sites but I’ve never had a problem with them and would not think it was rigged. Seems pretty legit to me.

I'll make the educated guess to say they don't intentionally cheat players on online poker. Just looking at it from a business standpoint, Online poker rooms and casinos are already cash cows without cheating. The most important thing these Poker Rooms have and this is true for any business is reputation. If they risk their reputation just to make a few more bucks, they risk potentially ruining themselves and losing a whole lotta money. There's a reason why there's an honest to God blacklist of Rooms and Casinos that you should avoid at all costs.

Something is definitely not the same as with live cards. The more I play with shuffled cards in hand with friends/family versus online, the more I see a difference in the sheer number of J/Q/K/A on the board, made straights, made flushes, and full houses online. A top pair seems to be worth a lot more in person. Probably still random online, but maybe programmed to be more exciting with better hands made and consistently higher cards on the board to entice more betting for more rake?

WPN isn't rigged, it's very rigged. You're not only playing against the players you're playing against the site.

You can still beat their shady shuffle if you study, study, study. A good place to start is with tracking software like PokerTracker4 and learn how to use analytics to improve your play. Another valuable tool is Flopzilla. It's a hand range calculator to learn how board cards hit your opponents' ranges.

The one thing that makes me think they are rigged is when you get knocked out of a tourney it is not a regular beat or a bad play by you it is a two outer or a cooler. These ways of losing make you want to play more poker. So its psychological. You want to play more when you make a deep run and get unlucky versus making a deep run and getting beat in a way were your dominated from start to finish and have to put your chips in and lose. Instead you are usually ahead preflop or flop better and then lose to a two outer or runner runner. It is always a sweat though. All things that make you want to play more psychologically gives you that sense of being so close to winning and that adrenaline rush.

Online Poker Its NOT RIGGED.

Yes, many people could no completly trust any PokerSite especialy If they are having bad results and If you are not completly informed about it of course people could start thinking about rigged games and Poker it made with odds against you, and the site will be programed to make you a bad beat on huge spots and stuff like that.

And the truth is that ONLINE POKER ITS NOT RIGGED.
First point its that there are international cerifications on any gambling/Poker Site and other security issues they need to operate in any country around the world.

Second Point its that, We have to understand that in poker there its a factor of variance (Some people call it luck) wich depends on many points, between others what kind of are you playing, which stakes, what kind of strategy you have to play that kind of games your playing more often.

The truth about poker its that there its not a correct or incorrect way to play, there are strategies and ways of play that coould maximize your chances to win but nothing more than that, And there its where variance comes to play.

Even if you have a solid strategy for your games or if you jut adapt on situation on the table that doesnt mean that you will have guaranteed succed or failure doing one or the other, There are tons of succesul and talented players not having big win on maybe one full year and its because variance and viceversa fun players with maybe not solid strategy for their games could win and win thousands of dollar on that same year.

Bad beats and bad luck

Poker is an inherently high variance game and takes resiliency to play. It's easy to blame the variance of the game on the online infrastructure and algorithm that distributes cards, but more often than not, it's because a player makes a sub-optimal decision (i.e. shoving on the flop with top set and then another player calls and hits nut flush). Getting a flush with four suits on the flop is around 30% so it's somewhat lucky even though the person with top set is in the lead at the flop.

I've had a lot of hands where I shove with nut flush on the turn only for the villain to get lucky on the river with a full house or quads. I think it's important to separate bad beats with playing ability. I recognize that nothing is guaranteed and reflect on whether I would do it again if the situation occurred again and if I would take the same action, then I have no regrets. For instance, as a small stack, I have no reservations against shoving with nut flush on the turn even with the small chance that my opponent hits a full house on the river.
