I've never played live poker, although I'd love to play it, but unfortunately it will not come soon ... As for online poker, it's good in its own way, but I'm in a hurry with people who are deliberately pulling out time and so it's not bad for holding personal time =)

The truth is that it is preferable to place blame on external forces than on oneself - this is common in all sports.
When it comes to online poker, the biggest problem is always about skill and bank mismanagement. For me, I do not have knowledge and banking skills. but I do not blame third, I know I lack skill and banking management. Complaints like these come from beginners or frustrated players as the player gains more experience and understands how the game works, he leaves these things behind him and becomes concerned about the cause of failure.

I think so, especially in all-in preflop situations.
It's as if in this type of situation, the worst smallest equity always had a certain advantage (which benefits recreational and bad players).

We've had such cases in poker rooms (full tilt and bot scandal in pokerstars), but...

Not rigged. Definitely bots and shady situations but no reason for a site to be rigged, they make all their money off the rake anyway.

At times I think it maybe rigged. I have seen on ACR the river lagging at times and it gives the worst hand the out it needs to win. Seems like a setup to me. Has anyone else noticed this lagging at times?
I have also been the receiver of this lagging river card so I can not say for certain if it is rigged and I have won tournaments on there too.
Hard to say if any online poker is rigged unless you collect a lot of data and research it yourself.

I think poker software is fair but some players will try to cheat using additional programs not allowed by poker rooms. This programs are run to another computer or on the same computer via a virtual machine and therefore not detected by pokerooms.

My Im just mad cause I can only cash in CC games, hmm games with no bot farms, no team viewers (least I hope not) and no for profit teams ,, HMM +NOW THAT REALLY MAKES ME WONDER cant cash in cheater games, can cash sometime in legit games HMMMM

CC games are soft af. Perhaps the 'cheater games' have a large percentage of good players in them?

I don't play live tournaments. (Only in a circle of friends, but it's not a tournament)). But I sometimes watch programs about poker and there are such incredible moves! For example, when the AAAКК meets ККККA, and the players on the hands of AA and КК respectively. Here if I did not see it with my own eyes, I guess in the online game I would have thought that the game is rigged!!!

The better I become, the less I think it is rigged. The truth is that as long as humans are involved, someone will probably try to rig something in their favor. That being said, it is in the best interest of the poker room to make everything above board and profit from the rake. I would be more concerned at higher stakes. I feel like if I had the money to play higher stakes, I would play live, unless I had a high percentage backer. I feel like most of the people claiming online play is rigged don't really understand the odds and long term probabilities. For example, slow playing pocket aces all the time and expecting 80 percent win rate.

I play only online poker there is no way to play a live game.
so despite the many conversations and gossip about online that I sometimes read on the Internet, I do not pay attention.
Online poker should lead me to success as well as many. I believe in it. protocol play in excellent rooms PS, BCP
I think bad reviews about online from careless players who do not want to learn and improve themselve

No doubt in my mind that online poker is rigged. Or let me say this instead, the cards that fall aren't random. I play 8-10hrs a day while I'm at work and have seen consistent patterns of bad beats over and over in specific situations. These frequency and consistency of these beats defy any realistic odds and I believe are programmed to move tournaments along and to force more buy ins. It would only make sense for a site to try to maximize it's profits like any business would. Why would anyone think online poker would not be rigged?

in this situation, I think I just need to play not standard. because the same people win online and achieve success some player? without doubt such facts are many.
I think it all depends on the reputation of the room and how you will tailor your strategy to a particular game at a distance.
if I blamed online poker always in a dishonest position, I would create a society as an anonymous alcoholic society and say, "Hello, I'm Nicholas, and I do not trust online poker."
all to me in return: hello small fish

Before, I was afraid to play freerolls on PS because of self-doubt and a big player.
but when on the Internet I started to win big fields of 5000 people and reached up to 80 seats, and then to the 13th place, I stopped being afraid of online and trust. Of course, such passes are not always, but as pleasant.
I will succeed online sooner or later and will not complain anymore. It all depends on me. I am a person I am a player and I will be winning online as if there were no system of dishonest factors in the game against me)
Our life will be boring if there was not - poker !!!!! ,
any poker. online in particular.

Regulated sites are not going to be rigged, otherwise they would be shut down.

As for unregulated sites, that's more of a gamble really, RNG isn't checked so it could be rigged.

There migth be one way to find out if the online games are rigged. If you could compare the total number of hands played to complete a tournament, they should be roughly the same, on average, for online vs live games for a given number of entrants. If the online games are rigged to complete the game asap, then there should be a marked difference between the two.
I don't know whether live poker houses have the dealers keep track of every hand dealt during wsop tournaments for instance, I suppose the online poker houses do have this data recorded in their computers, but I don' t know if either is available to the public.

Very interesting discussion, I think online poker is not rigged..But many players have such an opinion those who have a lose series..than there is a lucky factor, some players have more and some have a little less luck in poker..

my personal opinion on this is that 99% of poker room is rigged and not all types of games in some more in others less . I have played in many poker rooms and just saw how everything is done (in some even one program of distribution work )

very interesting this article and I have read everything, I always have the doubt that if the poker rooms are rigged, maybe not because they lose reputation, but it is inexplicable some hands that are impossible to believe in different rooms the RNG I think is different, I know it's also a question of how to play and how to move the cards and know how to make decisions, but sometimes we make the best decisions and what happens should not happen. Maybe each software in each room is different.

I think a lot of bad beats are inexperienced players

Hi fellow poker players! This is my very first post at this chat room! I get extremely frustrated at the beginning of tournaments both online and live due to the sheer ignorance of the players. If you are going to drop $125 bucks to play a tournament, don't you think it would be wise to study a little bit and know how to play? I can't tell you how many times I have seen some idiot raising or matching all in's with a possible flush or full house showing on the board and they are holding 3/6o or something similar crappy hand. It truly burns me.

Hello everyone, and so many people think that there is cheating in the game, then they lose much more, but it's true that there are possibilities to play are many, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Eh lost a full week with moustrous hands, but sometimes with not very good hands also win that has to do with the variance of the game. Decision-making is critical to this. Encontrás tables on different players with many styles of play and different strategies.

I do not think that online poker will deceive us all. Yes, it does happen that a weak hand will win against AA well, everything happens in zhyzni. My advice is to endure and revise my strategy of the game.

This game for many people is a money-making machine, they only think about money and the way to win more and more, there are many scammers but there are also many people who are dedicated to counteract these. There are very safe sites that invest a fortune a year to security, although no system is 100% sure scammers prefer other sites that are easier and are more bulkable. There are days that you do not even have a real ladder, because it turns out that at that moment the internet is disconnected. But that's not why we're going to judge the poker rooms or the game itself
