I would absolutely recomment this to you because that way you gain experiences. Also you can train your discipline which is also important. As soon as you gained enough cash you could try to invest them in bigger tournaments. So if your goal is absolute minimum risk then this should be fine for you.

There are not a lot of freerolls. You have to make the ones you find count. Getting in the freeroll club here is the easiest way I found to get enough from a freeroll to actually play. Most have small winnings that are not enough to for a buy in.

Yes, is possible and many had done it without depositing anything. there two things you need to check though. Free vs Time building your bankroll and funds withdrawal issue.

Absolutely..... This is EXACTLY how I started. Many many years ago I played on PS and only played freeroll. I managed to get up to $6-$8 and had a goal of getting up to $20 then I would reevaluate and maybe invest that $20 and try to double it up. BUT I got super lucky and won a Freeroll with a $1000 prize, so I actually cashed out. But when I started playing again 12-18 months ago I did the same thing. Freeroll only, but both the wife and I after about 6-10 months decide to put $20 each into our separate accounts. The main reason we did this was to get the benefits from being a first time depositor. I have turned that $20 into $190 at this point.
