Good morning.Of course, you can mate.5 dollars is easy to reach by playing freerolls on Stars. There are daily CC freerolls you can play there but ,first ,try to become a Platinum member (and try to stay on that status) in order to play those great freerolls ,especially on weekends. You can also play other freerolls but CC ones are the best.It is up to you, mate .Patience and good luck.

Absolutely! I sometimes withdrawal everything and start all over, it helps keep me on my toes and my strategies fresh.

Of course it works. Pokerstars in particular has many freeroll tournaments where you can win real money. But since the prize money in such tournaments is not high, it can take a while until you have enough money to actually play real money games. Remember that you need a buffer when playing real money games because you don't want to go broke right away. Stick to bankroll management.

yea im doing that now, started with nothing only playing freerolls, and Ive done well ,but not near my goals yet. Ive taken a few shots at the $12k n $15k tournys with my winnings but ive ran into some bad beats on the bubble that busted me. Played in a freeeroll last night and was chip leader for most of the tourny and with around 30ppl left I just got super super unlucky. I was playing tight at this point and was going to just ride to the final table, but when i had a great hand i just made the others play for all their chips... QQ vs 55 (#4 in chips)loses, QQ vs 66 (#10 in chips) loses, JJ vs 99 (#5 in chips) loses, and Then AKs vs TJ (had like 15bb) loses. This all happened within 15 hands. I went from 1st to 24th in chips. Crazy to think I could have had like 250k chips with 2nd place having around 50k at this point but ohh well right. I still managed to get 12th, which I was super happy about considering the bad run of cards and still cashed.

As everyone advises - play freerolls, gain experience, collect bankroll. This is the place where you can achieve a lot from scratch, but it depends a lot on you and your game.

I still haven't managed to have a bank starting from scratch, but I'm trying.
This month I'm just going to play freerolls to see if I can get out of scratch.

You can start creating a bankroll through a freeroll. It's fun and free. And why invest your money if there is such an opportunity. Therefore, you can start playing freeroll right now and learn poker until you feel the strength for a serious game.

Yes and i did. I think it is easier these days to do it, with many free rolls across different poker clients, you also have the excellent Cardschat and other similar type websites that offer freerolls for a little bit of user effort. It never used to be like that, i vaguely remember the only free rolls that pokerstars offered were $25 prize pot and always had the max 10'000 sign up, I actually won one of them a razz tourney, $5, way back in 2006. It was how i started.

Yes you can. I've built chump change from freerolls but I prefer to deposit small increments by small cause freerolls bore me. I feel like if you can save money aside for other things you can do the same with deposits from every paycheck for poker. You can do both if you want but I prefer to build my bankroll from deposits and add winnings on top of them.

Personally I recommend finding a bankroll. Most freerolls now a days are way to fast. You can build up a bankroll forsure but you most often need to be a certain level or earn tickets but accomplishing tasks. The cardchat freerolls however are a great freeroll to build a bankroll there's tons of tournaments and bigger prizes than most freerolls when min cashing. Be brave you won't learn much from playing freerolls exclusively

Is it possible to start a free bankroll, this is the question I have asked myself, I do not want to put money in until I show that I earn at least 5 dollars, to feel safer, do you understand?, but it is highly recommended to start a free bankroll, currently I do not want to invest real money in poker, or what do you recommend

Yeah, it's plausible but it will take time if you don't have a team of friends who gain advantage in the table knowing the all the cards.

currently I do not want to invest real money in poker

Than don't.

Nothing is wrong with that. You can start building your bankroll by playing freeroll tournaments. Cardschat's freeroll tournaments are a good way to learn how to play poker and earn some money.

If you are not an experienced poker player I would by no means advise you to invest real money in poker. Of course, playing freeroll tournaments is a slower way to make serious money, but if you are not an experienced player, it is very likely that you would lose what you would have invested. So, take your time and be patient.

And yes, it is possible. And I convinced myself of that. To motivate you I will put some print screens of my Cardschat freeroll tournament results.

I am not a pro player, I think there is still a lot of room to improve my game. Therefore, it is possible.

But results like this are more common. :D

yes. I have started bankrolls on 5 sites. This by playing and cashing in freerolls. I have built up a bankroll from zero to 1k. You can then play mtts or satellites on the sites, opting for big scores.

Yes ofcourse you can with freerolls. I actually just play freerolls, and that way i dont have a lot of pressure on myself while playing. I can enjoy poker much more, when playing for free.
