I play 4 or 5 sites, a dozen or more tables with PT4 running, Twitch streaming running, Youtube music playing, etc. and I NEVER have any lagging issues on 888.
Oh yah, and my computer is over 10 yrs. old. (& CPU is an i5 << nothing special)

I had 2 tables open and was also running a HUD (Poker Copilot) which doesn't BTW seem to work very well with 888. Wasn't playing any other sites.

First of all, I would like to point out to all readers of this post that 888 customer service sucks. Advisors are like robots who have learned in their training to copy and paste answers, and are not humans who try to understand customer needs.

My problem: I can't collect my money, my account is verified and that's not the reason.

A few days ago, I received a money transfer from a friend on 888 poker, I played with this money at the casino, at the sports betting... but despite these bets my money still remains a bonus and 0$ is on the main balance. When I contacted customer service, they told me that my account is not eligible for bonuses.

I tell the customer service answer that I have no bonus, and I'm not asking for any bonus, but my problem is that I received a transfer and even if I bet it on different games it still remains a bonus and that does not switch to the main balance.

I admit that every time it's a hassle with 888, customer service 0/10.

First of all i dont know him personally.

Now, with all due to respect, did u actually read his post? He is not eligible for bonuses and therefore he can not use the money transfered.

Ok he was a bit rude but ur answer is kind of shocking to a 888 customer like me. It should be like:

"All transfers are classed as bonus money. I see that we have a special case here since u are not eligible for bonuses. Please give me ur username and we will send the money back to the original sender."

Transfers converted to bonus money that will dissapear if not used in time is very very questionable anyway. Not one single other pokersite that i know of does this and for this very reason i will never use that function.

Use VPN for download and disable your antivirus. Belarusian providers block poker sites and therefore the updated version can't be downloaded.

The 888 rep didn't shock me with his response (and I'm not judging him). What would have shocked me is to provide a solution.

888 has old-fashioned rules and marketing strategy, it relies on false advertisements and bonuses to attract losing players, but once you start winning you will see the hidden side, it has several legal tricks to steal money by maintaining its good image on the market. In addition, it is the poor customer service of all the rooms.

Another remark : I have never seen a site that asks you several times for identity verification, all sites ask for it only once except 888, and when you send a document it announces a 24-hour deadline to respond by email but it takes them weeks to process the request.

Lucky for me it's a small amount of money, but imagine if you have a few thousand dollars and you want to withdraw them. 888 is able to ask you to verify your account again and leave you waiting for weeks without meeting the deadline. They have tricks for creating obstacles.

On the other hand, when you make a deposit, no one asks you to check your account before because it is an inflow of money for them, but to get them out this is where their intelligence begins.

Regarding the "bonus", maybe you can talk to @Poker Orifice as he had a similar issue with money transfers on 888.

And last but not least, to be fair:
I made a withdrawal in November 2022 and I had no issue with that on 888. The money was there within one day.
(although Pokerstars didn't let me withdraw that easily. 😅)

I guess each case is different but yes, I agree that sites generally make it a little more easy to deposit than withdraw money. 😕

It's in the cardschat rules that you shouldn't contact room's support with any freeroll-related questions. It's written in every thread for every freeroll.

Go to the general 888 freeroll thread and ask there, maybe someone will post a screenshot for you.

But to quickly comment on your screenshot, cardschat freerolls are tournaments, and, therefore, you should search for them there, not under jackpot poker or cash games tag.

I received a money transfer on 888 poker from a friend, I knew I had to bet it in order to withdraw it. It's normal.

When I received this transfer, I bet it several times, played roulette, sports betting and a few small poker tournaments. The important thing is that I bet the entire amount.

Last night I wanted to make the withdrawal and I noticed that all the balance I have is a bonus and that I have no dollars on the main balance and that I cannot withdraw the bonus.

I contacted customer service, explained that I received a transfer and that I wagered it but it still remains a bonus not eligible for withdrawal. The customer service replied to me with this sentence: your account is not eligible for bonuses and you cannot withdraw a bonus, that is to say that even if I play this balance all my life and I win everything that I win it is added to the bonus which I cannot withdraw and I can no longer transfer it to a loved one. So it's like I have play money.

Now I solved the problem on my own, I played surebets between 888 sport and other bookmakers and fortunately I was able to transfer the balance to other bookmakers and I can withdraw it, but what The problem is customer service, I contacted at least 3 different advisors and they all have the same sentence to copy and paste and you feel that when there is a real problem there is no one to listen to you.

When everything is going well everything is fine but the day you have a slightly complicated problem you struggle and it becomes very complicated.

Cardschat players and other communities may be listened to because there are several readers and people who react... but for independent customers I don't know how they do it.

Why would an online poker site classify a 'player to player' transfer as a 'bonus' and then why would they not let you even clear that bonus until ALL of the money in your account was gone? What... do they just count on every customer losing all of their money... and then have the customer just happen to have enough of a transfer that they can actually generate enough rake on that to withdrawal it?

Wouldn't a poker site do things to ATTRACT customers? And do things to help attract customers to be wanting to play more often on the site?

Honestly 888Poker would do much better to just not have any player-to-player transfers allowed on their site because by offering this feature BUT ATTACHING THE MOST RIDICULOUS RULES to it, 888Poker is actually LOSING customers. How do they make any sense of this????????????????

I would think a grade school child just discovering business & marketting education in school at the age of 10yrs. would know how to do things far better than this. Who makes these decisions for 888? I mean how could anyone come up with a worse idea? ("let's just take as much cash as we can unethically squeeze out of our customers and then fold up shop!") <<< this is what it feels like.

I've played on 888 since 2008 (maybe 2007) and I've watched a series of bad business decisions in that time period. It is no wonder that they remain at the bottom of the food chain. Why do I still play on there at all? Easy game. (either that or perhaps I'm just a sucker).

888 has hired some good representatives on the Twitch stream team (1 in particular). They'd do well to listen to their input.
I'm not in the business of running a poker site but I am absolutely positive I could double the player pool at 888 in less than 6mos. (it boggles one's mind to see them flounder so much)

Thats what most recs or new players think about this. But looks like 888 does not get it. Everyone with a sense of marketing would have changed this from a wheel to a slot long ago.

Try to disable antivirus if you have one. I used to receive something similar.
