I have been told that Homegames are not available on mobile device.

I have also seen other tournaments that are not available on mobile device mostly speciel games and weekly round two sunday.

But what is the reason that homegames aren't available on mobile, because from my point of view there isn't any technical difference in the game.

Hi tothbopo,

Adding Home Games would require development time. Ideally, we would like to add everything to our mobile application, but there are currently items with higher priority.

Hope this helps answer your question.

Regards,
Dylan

Will the ability to lock the list of players in the Tournament Lobbies be included in PokerStars 7?

I mean there is always a player highlighted in the list and it scrolls to follow this player. Will there be a way to lock the list on a specific position instead of a player (example on position 75 and the list will not move from there, even if players are moving in the list)?

Hi Gorak,

This isn't currently a feature of planned feature, or something that's available on PS6, but I've added it to the list of suggested improvements for the PS7 team to consider.

Thanks for the feedback.

Another question regarding some very interesting stuff I read on the two plus two forums.

About that too much money is going to the upper tier levels and that games are getting tougher and tougher there and you do to little to make games softer, like giving more about recreational players (I guess you do but haven't obv find way to balance the reg/fish ratio better and that fish keeps longer alive) Good players eating them up at quicker rate and the bad players don't stay as long anymore.

I might even fall in the bad players category on Stars, but rather avoid it cause of that (might have been that I just have been UL in 2 much decisive spots for my feeling but thats not the issue of my question), altough you have the best software, guaranteeds of the planet etc.

Do you think things will change or is this a thing that can't be changed anymore? Cause on one hand you need the SNE players cause they are getting lots of games running, but on other hand you want a fun environment for the recreational players , that they stick longer and redeposit.

Whats your opinion on this?

Hi stevenright,

We are monitoring interest in a Windows phone app, but at the moment there are no immediate plans to release one. I've passed on your interest to the mobile team.

Thanks,
Dylan

Hi MasterOfDisaster,

We're aware of the importance of improving the experience for new and casual players. If you haven't already, I recommend that you that you try the new PS7 client which has been designed to be simpler and easier to navigate for new players. Some recent promotions like Football Fever and the Summer Daily Challenges can be completed with a relatively small time commitment as well. If you have any feedback on PS7 or our promotions, I'd be happy to pass it on to those responsible.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Regards,

Dylan

Agree this is a step forward those missions , but don't you think if you have an 50K allin tournament running, imo it would be better to give 1k players all $50 instead of a couple of players a lot. Otherwise how sure are you the money will reach the recreational players? Believe the way I think is better the chances are higher the money reaches them and also higher they will actually play with the money.

I agree, this makes more sense,
(and to counter the obvious reply, a high top prize on a promotion isn't necessary to impress the value, the announced prize pool is the impressive figure).

In fact experimenting with a new style of shallower structures on some new regular tournaments could show whether they become popular. I think the interest in 'deals' already indicates there would be a large interest.

This thread is a bit of a one-stop shop for all PokerStars-related suggestions and improvements, so feel free to post any software feedback and questions here as well.

Thanks,
Dylan

Cheers Dylan. I'm using the Beta features of Easy seat for 24 tabling (when there's 24 tables available that is) the problem I'm having is that when I decline a table it may open 5 or 6 times again immediately after declining it. When this happens the buy-in dialogue pops up covering the screen so I have to move it to see if I want to play that table. When I have 16+ other tables open this becomes a proper nuisance. What I would like to see would be a 5 minute or so delay before the table's re-offered to stop this. For example. If 6 tables open automatically and I decline 4 of them and they keep popping up it's virtually impossible to keep playing. I know this is a bit petty but the problems it causes me are so frustrating

Dylan, i'm experiencing so much trouble with my MTTs

For starters sometimes i'm going to late register some tourney and when i click register the table DOESN'T open! i need to open the lobby and click in take my seat, and sometimes even this takes a lot of time!

very slow software to show informations when you open lobby

and when im in a tournament, sometimes when they move me to another table the table just stays there and the new one doesnt pop up!

i lost a lot of money because of this... i multitable and a few times i notice theres some table missing,... then i go see and this problem happened and i need to click on take my seat, but till them i might have lost almost all my chips :(

Not heard of that before, which are the rooms that are in front and bringing shame?

The interest in mobile clients adds another problem, the trouble is that switching between desktop and mobiles negates the inbuilt hud unless a cloud is used, which would be even worse.
Better just to use the gameutil2 utility to disable any hud altogether making it more like real poker in a live environment and freedom to use different devices.
This would be better for 'real poker players'.

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the colours of the four colour deck in pokerstars? The reason I'm asking this is that the blue of Diamonds ad the black of Clubs often look the same to me and can lead to confusion.

Hi Dylan,

I have been getting forced shutdowns recently, I have never had a problem with Stars in the past, it has only been happening for about 1 month now. It is very annoying during a game to have to restart the program and miss out on hands, even worse is when you have a good hand and it happens after you make a substantial bet then when you restart the software you see a loss of chips and not know wether your hand held would have held up or not.

Do you know of anything that may be causing this?

My screen name there is Me zorba.

Hi Dylan,

Great to get a little pro prospective for sure. I did an online training session through poker school last night with a guy talking us through strategy around Pot limit Omaha. It was really cool and I picked up a few good tips for sure. Anything like that would be great interest to me.
