So she wakes up and read this email from stars,that was send like 4AM ,someone seemed to reset her PW and it wasn't her. (my conclusion right after that FT someone wrote down her screenname and tried to compromise later)

your explanation from security seems to say there is a player like Lulupk701 which made a typeerror, if this is the case you can be 100% sure , if you look from where (IP) this 4AM reset is made and if there is a screenname involved from that IP that is similar to this players one.

We can say , get yourself a security token, but dont you think this actually has to do that screennames are involved to login?
I wonder how often this has happened on SM winners accounts? (prolly unsuccesful but a try stays a try and you must make it as hard as possible for hackers)

No one not in New Jersey can play with anyone in New Jersey on Pokerstars. No one in New Jersey can play with anyone not in New Jersey on Pokerstars.

Anyone physically located within the geographic borders of the state of New Jersey is able to play on Pokerstars NJ. You do not need to be a legal resident of New Jersey or have any particular citizenship to play on Pokerstars from New Jersey. Therefore, you can play on PSNJ from your home in New Jersey, from a hotel room, or even just passing through in a car.

Las Vegas does currently have online poker, but no Pokerstars. There is legal, regulated online poker in the state of Nevada, where Las Vegas is located. Currently, as far as I know, the only regulated site operating in Nevada is wsop.com. Formerly, there were other regulated sites operating there too. The WSOP site in Nevada is ring-fenced like in New Jersey so you can only play against other people in Nevada (there may also be a liquidity sharing deal with Delaware, but I don't know the details on that). Pokerstars is prohibited by law to even apply for a gaming license in Nevada until 2018 as part of a bad-actor clause.

Playing online poker is legal in every state in the United States other than Washington (playing online poker in Washington is currently considered a felony). What is illegal in every state, including New Jersey, Nevada, and Delaware, is providing unregulated online poker. Americas Cardroom (ACR) and Bovada are two examples of the many unregulated sites operating in the United States. Depending on the site, you may even be able to play on the unregulated site from Nevada, giving you another option for online poker from Las Vegas, albeit an unregulated one.

I hope this was a helpful and informative crash course in American poker regulation.

Vegas does have online poker, 888/WSOP is the worlds second biggest website and serves Nevada as well as NJ and Deleware, but no Pokerstars is not in Nevada yet.

Many states are lobbying to get online poker, and they will get it sooner or later, perhaps in the next year or two a whole bunch of states will have it. The big push now in states like Michigan and Iowa is that when they start online poker they will allow people from any state or country that says its legal to play - this will make for very nice traffic once it begins. More than likely it will be a mix of 888/WSOP and Pokerstars, and maybe a few mother sites like Party Poker, Titan, Bovada, Etc that will lead the way across America!

Anybody having problems with Pokerstars crashing. For the last week or so the table will go white and freeze then crash.

Sometimes it happens if I'm playing cash or if I get knocked out of a tournament. Not sure if a Pokerstars issue or PC issue, although it doesn't happen on any other site I play, just on Pokerstars.

it also happens alot to me last month, but less lately

The rest I completely stand behind and if I cant repost this in small letters (I leave out the ffing words , but they were mostly directed to my own situation not to insult anyone else.)

I miss the 100k privelege and the weekly round 2 freerolls , there were very nice to have a good time all day and build your bankroll easy in my opinion , I don't like the giveaway freriollls promotion ,I think its harder to make it into the money . I wish they hadn't changed anything

I reverted back to pokerstars 6. Found pokerstars 7 pretty frustrating. I didn't have any bugs though, just they say it's more friendly for new users and easier to navigate. I have found the complete opposite.

I agree, amazing support indeed.
If something is bad it should be said, but if it's good it should be said as well.

This week I made my first deposit ever (with the money I won from the summer league) and tried to get the first deposit bonus.
First message that appears after making the deposit is that I already have an account and for that reason I could not receive my bonus.
Initially I was quite upset about this, especially because it appeared in the list at the cashier of bonuses I'm eligible for.
I realised that I had indeed made another account a long time ago, because some friend started playing poker and I wanted to try it out for myself, but I had totally forgotten about that account (I even thought it was at PKR).
I didn't play a lot on it, only played with play money, never made a deposit and never received any kind of bonus.
After 2 mails, to verify some details, I received my bonus and I'm ready to start playing with the big boys.

I believe the .NET version doesn't have the hand history option, only the .COM version does.
