Hey Dylan, I'll just quote myself from another thread.

How do they manage to get all the data?
I would say the poker sites should tighten up their security to stop these bots mining data.
As bots aren't supposed to be allowed.
I would also like to know who is observing the table, so an observer list would be a quite useful feature and shouldn't be too difficult to implement.

Any thoughts on this? How about an observer list on the tables?

Saw you post in another thread as well. Played a while at the time you posted this with no problems. In Germany.

You better yet?

Hi Dylan, I have a few questions for you.

Why was observer chat taken away in the 5200 buy in 19:32 8 game? This happened a few weeks ago.

And also, will the rebuy tournaments ever be back?

Hey Dylan, could you look here https://www.cardschat.com/forum/poker-rooms-10/poker-stars-gold-i-need-520-a-208729/#post1882359 if you are around today?

Thanks, Happy Easter

Hey fletchdad,

Sorry I missed this. I was away over the long weekend and am on the uphill climb to getting caught up this week.

It looks like your fellow CC members answered your questions in the other thread. One thing worth mentioning is that another benefit of achieving GoldStar status is not only the higher FPP multiplier, but also access to the $300 VIP Reward Bonus for 25,000 FPPs in the VIP Store.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Dylan

Hi Chemist,

I hadn't thought of an observer list. I'm not sure that it would accomplish its intended goal and I can't imagine many players taking the time to scan a list to see who's watching. I'll mention it to the tech team but hopefully it will no longer be necessary given recent developments.

If Observer Chat was taken away I suspect it may have been because some observers were abusing the chat privilege with spamming or other infractions. If you think there's another reason I can try to followup and get a more specific answer for you.

What rebuy tournaments are you referring to?

I am thinking of playing on PS after some time away, I was wondering if they are going to have another month when it takes less points to achieve Silver, Gold etc status cos I could really do with one of those to get me started?

Yea this would be awesome (especially if they did it in the summer like last year). I'd get to platinum star like a boss.

Appreciating the input guys. While I can't disclose anything right now hopefully you'll be pleased with our Spring/Summer promotions.

We'll talk about them once they arrive.

SCOOP is also right around the corner.

Ask and you shall receive :).

The SCOOP Reload Bonus is now live. 50% up to $250. You have till May 3rd to deposit. You have 30 days from the time of your deposit to clear the bonus. The bonus is released in $10 increments for every 200 VPPs earned. Enter 'MAX250' in the PokerStars Bonus Code box when depositing to apply the bonus.

Happy SCOOP'ing.

this is why I want to stay at stars, was considering moving over for rakeback etc but the software, promotions and amount of games makes up for that imo.

Thanks D.
I play dollar and euro games. Can I make a deposit in any currency, and then play any currency and get the bonus? Like if I deposit in dollars and play mostly euro games (or vice-versa), does that matter? And my current account amount is irrelevant as well?

If you deposit in euros the bonus is 50% up to a maximum of €190. It is 260 VPPs for every €10 increment. However, it doesn't matter what currency type table you're on, as you'll still be earning VPPs which clears the bonus. If you make the deposit in Euros, you'll be accredited the bonus in Euros and same for USD and CAD.

I just noticed that I had about 261 FPPs on PS accumulated pre-Black Friday. Being a US player, is there anything I can do with them? I looked at the store, and it looks like I don't have enough to really get anything.. they have tournaments for some FPPs.. but I don't think I can play in those, lol. Are they just going to sit there and look pretty?

Hi Mortis,

You're right that you can't use them to play in Tournaments as a US player right now. Unfortunately, US players are only able to redeem their FPPs by purchasing VIP Reward Bonuses and previously earned but unclaimed VIP Stellar Rewards and Milestone Cash Credits from the VIP Store.

A balance of less than 2500 FPPs is not currently redeemable. Your FPP balance will be made available to you again if you are able to play for real money on PokerStars at some point in the future.

So basically, for now they're just going to look pretty, but hopefully at some point they can be put to use.

Thanks for your understanding,

Dylan
