I had a poker account unibet. amendments were made to the legislation of the republic of kazakhstan, and the unibet no longer worked in my country. so I think it is very silly to keep money in a poker account. at any time they can be lost or there will be difficulties with the withdrawal of money

I have never hand my money stolen from a bank, but I have had it stolen from a poker site. My bank is insured, poker sites do not provide insurance for your funds. Some banks provide interest on your funds- I dont know of any poker sites that provide interest.

if I had money... diversification is a safest way for long term savings. You can keep some money on poker, some on your bank account, take a bit and buy a gold, part in cash in different currencies. But choosing between poker site and bank only is not smart move. there is a lot of option, depends on your preferences.

I'm keeping my money in a bank, no doubt about it. I'll keep my money in a poker site just about as long as it takes me to make a withdrawal.

After what happened 10 years ago (Black Friday) I don't let my poker accounts get over a few hundred dollars before I get my cash off .

I would definitely withdraw it frequently to the bank account.
In Germany you will pay only fees, if you have over 100K on your bank account.
And therefore it makes sense to have several accounts here. One for poker and one or more
for your salary and some for other savings/expenses and one for poker.

I am only a casual player, so my answer would have to be no. I just can't imagine needing money and placing myself at the mercy of poker site and their withdrawal process.

Usually I will grind up some winnings and cash them out to a crypto wallet.

Most of people prefer put money in bank, except local bank is not safe.

Withdraw from poker site must under the agreement of managers, not so comfortable.

No, I would never trust any poker room to store a large amount ( there are a lot of examples), but I don't really trust the banks of my country either!

Well done in this way, you did not leave the opportunity to the banks, but it varies from one country to another as in Morocco where the banks do not stop providing new services without informing the customer, and if you want to stop these services, they start maneuvers and slow down the process for as long as possible.

Would never keep much more than a few hundred pounds in a poker site unless I was playing everyday and need a bankroll of more than that. poker site have been taken down in the past and money lost or frozen for a long time.

My money earned through my career, the bank as the government has tabs on that money anyways. Any other money, keep it in cash. I keep a lot in my gun safe.

Crypto

I won a large jackpot on Ignition and withdrew through Ethereum. On average, for every $9500, it made extra about $500-$1000. But the fees can get hefty if you’re then going to send to your bank account. I’d just leave it in crypto and get like a Coinbase debit card that lets you use your crypto the same as anywhere that takes a visa.

Should never keep more than a few games in at a time. Many times these sites have crashed and left us players holding nothing!!!

I would never do that in my life. You can only store money for a weekly session in the rooms. The rest is better to store in a pillow or mattress.
