Fun little spot:

75/62 opens CO, BTN 44/13 calls, I 3b to $13, CO snap folds, BTN flats - we're like 150bb deep.

(Pot ~ $29)
Flop J53sss, I have Ks he is at least a bit aggro post, so I decided to go for a x/r. I x, he bets $10 into $29, I make it $25, he calls.

(Pot ~ $77)
Turn 8o, I check and he bets $15, I decide to flat, actually pretty worried he flopped it at this point

(Pot ~ $107)
River 6o, I check, and he pots it - essentially all in (something like $3 behind) for $109.

No specific reads on button except that he had a decent aggression stat post (~2.2) over like 45 hands, but obv sample is small.

Micromachine, I've got about half way through your vid. Just a thought - you seem to close tables down without waiting for your BB - you're missing some free hands there...

For whatever reason, I've noticed you cannot edit OR preview after pasting it into the reply box. If you do, it comes out messed up. So in other words, once you paste, you're done.

Thanks, that must be it, I normally preview the post when I post a hand, I'll try not doing that next time

If I'm reading this correctly, are you talking about heroing with K high?

Fook, I was trying sooo hard to remember to add that in... no we've got top pair.

So line check, and also river decision.

Edit: would be sexy if a mod could edit into post #3878 that I've got KsJx

Didn't think he would've called my large turn bet with a FD and 2 pair hands on that board are fairly unlikely so I thought he had mostly AQ, KQ, sets or straights. I do OKish against that range but I figured checking also gave him a chance to bluff. You no like it?

edit: actually he would call the turn with QhXh FD's I suppose

CO is 16/13... If he even has 65s here when he flats pre I'd pretty surprised. If that's true then we're only losing to QQ and I guess 77, and there's no guarantee those hands even play post this way 100%. And there's TONS of worse hands that may call a bet but won't bet for value themselves.

Think of it this way imo: if we're seriously that concerned, we should be x/f, not x/c. He's not going to bet much worse if he's played like Qx so passively so far. Like, letting him bluff, yeah, maybe, but the only hands he bluffs are bare flush draws. Not tooo many combos of those at this point, and again, unless we know for sure he bets them, I doubt it's gonna be higher EV than just going for value.

There isn't like some end all be all copy and paste post that anyone can give you here. If you want tips, this site is already loaded with them. Look around

Look left, bet for value, fold more. Seems like a good starting point

Winning Poker Network - $0.02 NL - Holdem - 8 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

UTG+1: $1.69
Hero (MP): $1.09
MP+1: $1.69
CO: $1.12
BTN: $0.66
SB: $2.02
BB: $0.40
UTG: $0.28

SB posts SB $0.01, BB posts BB $0.02

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.03) Hero has A:diamond: J:heart:

fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.07, fold, fold, fold, SB calls $0.06, fold

Flop: ($0.16, 2 players) A:spade: Q:diamond: T:spade:
SB bets $0.10, Hero raises to $0.30, SB raises to $1.95 and is all-in, Hero calls $0.72 and is all-in

Turn: ($2.20, 2 players) Q:heart:

River: ($2.20, 2 players) 2:club:

Hero shows A:diamond: J:heart: (Two Pair, Aces and Queens) (Pre 73%, Flop 38%, Turn 89%)
SB shows T:diamond: A:heart: (Two Pair, Aces and Queens) (Pre 27%, Flop 62%, Turn 11%)
Hero wins $2.09

I'm starting to get more aggressive with isolating limpers and extracting max value from them. At times I get a table image of being a hero and get a lot of folds but I'm studying over at DeucesCracked and starting to realize when and where to display that aggression. There are players who don't like folding to steal attempts and you can really max your value by betting the tops of your range against them so they have to play OOP post flop.

It was a short stacked FR table. They're really common over on WPN some nights. A lot of the players at them are really difficult to get value out of as they're usually under rolled and simply looking for coin tosses with big hands.

November was a really lazy month, only load around 8.5k hands which i think is my lower on all year. I switch to Party and agree with Choopy site is lol, but software is so tilting that even when was winning at 14bb/100 (4nl) can´t stand to stay with all disconections and software bugs, this pretty much kill my will to play on the month and ended playing just every other day and just short sessions.

Switch back to Stars now and this month plan is to shit load a ton of hands and end the year with a blast and enjoying poker. GL people.
