I should give him a call. Maybe some coaching in my native language will work wonders.
Still. That was a very good run IMO. Some of his sessions were incredible lucky.

That's so sick man. My biggest score is actually smaller than that, with a $985 win in a 147-man $33 on Bovada - your achievement is far greater :D Always hurts to get so close and not clinch the victory, but the pay jumps weren't so outrageous, so that's good. Congrats - you are making me miss MTT's, though I've not cashed in my last 20 or so, so I am still stinging from that

Though tbf I haven't played any poker in 2 weeks so I'm kind of itching to play regardless. Btw, when did this thread get so dead - just the holidays or have been people been dropping off the face of the planet?

Grats on the cash Micro.

------------------
Best line vs this guy when we are OOP?

Poker Stars $0.02/$0.05 No Limit Hold'em - 9 players

BTN: $5.00
SB: $5.00
BB: $1.38
UTG: $19.99
UTG+1: $4.81
UTG+2: $5.53
MP1: $7.23
Hero (MP2): $5.53
CO: $2.45

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is MP2 with XX
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.15, CO raises to $0.35, 3 folds, Hero ??

Villain is a shorty-reg
17/13 , A:3/7 , 3B:10 , F3B:25 (8)
CB:63 , FCB: 33 , Hands:751

Range to 4b and size?
Range to flat?

Id be inclined to 4bet QQ+ and AKs to $1, seems a reasonable size. This is because people dont tend to 3bet too light at this limit and his 10% could be deceptive. My first move would be to hover over his 3bet percentage to see how much he 3bets from the CO/button compared to the blinds. If he does actually 3bet 10% from CO/btn then Id go with duggs 4bet range.
For flatting Id pretty much be doing that with anything not good enough to 4bet seeing as we're getting about 2.5-1 due to the tiny 3bet. Id never be folding in this spot. Thats just me though as I feel comfortable post flop and a lot of micro players make big mistakes post. If you think you're gunna be in weird spots you dont want to be in OOP then go ahead and fold speculative hands (SC etc) and ATish type hands. Hope that helped.

His 3b is 8% on CO (48)

The thing is that we don´t have much room postflop so anything that we 4b we going to go all the way right?.

Also 77-TT, we need to pay 20 c to call so we need at least $3 to get the 15-1, so set mine blows too.

flatting AT/AJ/AQ/KT/KJ/KQ get tricky because we don´t have implied odds for sc, and the guy don´t fold to cb´s so 2/3 times when don´t hit or don´t get draws we going to just x/f or x/c flop x/f turn or can we go all the way?

I´m getting on wars vs him and is getting me mad, going to make a full search on showdowns vs him.

****ing shorties

Its true but the odds youre getting are so good you only have to win the pot less than 30% of the time so c/f flops you whiff is fine. You also definitely have the odds to set mine especially as you say he is aggressive and as a shorty should be fairly easy to stack. I think folding really bad and easily dominated hands like K10o with very little implied odds is fine but in general flatting would be the best play imo

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.1/$0.2 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 8:c, 8:s.
MP2 raises, Hero 3-Bets, CO folds, BU calls, 2 folds, MP2 calls, MP2 checks, Hero bets, BU caps, MP2 folds, Hero calls, Hero checks, BU checks, Hero bets, BU calls.

Final Pot: 62.85 BB.
Results follow:

Hero shows a pair of eights(8:c 8:s).
BU shows a pair of nines(9:c 9:d).

Hero wins with a pair of eights(8:c 8:s).
BU wins with a pair of nines(9:c 9:d).

Does this line get me the most value, and is my sizing any good?

Edit: WTF? this isn't fixed limit and its not showing post flop, I had a set of 88s I'll see if I can find a better converter, also it's 10NL not 2nl

^ Lol something's gone very wrong with the conversion there, you can convert the hand directly from PT4/HEM2 if you have that, or I used to use FTR converter and never a problem
