Thought you knew about my rise to fame on ipoker? But no, I still play 50NL/100NL at stars as my main game, but ipoker gave me a free €5 for signing up, and I've so far run it up to €270 - and poker's fun again!

Calling 3 bets pre flop. This is where I am being exploited I believe. If there is any part of my game that I struggle with it is this. I'm confused because threads say calling 3 bets is bad then others say if your fold to 3 bet is too high your exploitable. So where is the middle ground?? I feel when I don't call and play 4 bet or fold I seem to do better. When I begin to call 3 bets in position against lags I loose money so I'm doing it wrong? Someone help as I have asked this question before and hardly got any responses and micro crushers thread seems to get the most action and I respect most of your plays and theory haha

For now, simply never call 3bets OOP 100bbs deep, and you won't got far wrong. If you are playing with someone who has position on you and appears to be exploiting this, just switch tables. You do not have to start fighting back etc. until you play games that are tougher. 2NL should be like bending down and picking up $2 every ten steps. No need to get fancy, trust me.

Value bet is all you gotta do!

Hi Cafe - Thanks for this. It's something I also struggle with. But what about IP? I don't call 3bets OOP just IP but still seem to be losing from doing this. (Am playing 5nl atm) Are you supposed to call and play fit/fold with hands like AJ+ and small and medium PPs when 3 bet from BTN, SB or BB? Thanks.

This is a huge topic tbh, but obviously IP we have more options, especially depending how villain plays. Again though, unless you want to get into some tricky spots, you're probably best off just playing for value at the nanos.
