This hand is a fold because we cant 3bet the flop and cant just flat because were going to end up so lost on turns right? So we give him credit for bigger Qs and sets, right?

Not even better Qs imo. Although I'm surprised he raised so small for a nit who just hit his set, yeah just fold.

AQs, KQs are flatting pre here? I know he is 11/10, but dont know how many hands, or his 3bet range.

I have been 3betting these type hands a lot and have been being told that flatting OOP is better since I am only folding out worse and getting better to call/4bet me.

I mean he doesn't reraise otf with a better Q, he'll most likely just call, so we can take that out of his range. Nits gonna nit :)

And yes, nothing wrong with taking a looky at a flop with hands like AQ/KQ.

Depends on the opponents stats, if he doesn't like to fold to 3 bets and his PFR is high enough so that he opens worse than A/Q then 3betting A/Q is profitable.

I think that's being results oriented above ^^^ The average player at 10nl is most certainly stacking KK preflop..:

Sorry but this isn't true at all, I flat 4bets IP with AA/KK vs regs all the time to extract value from JJ/QQ/AK, the day's of auto stacking AA/KK are over imo im not at my computer to check but im confident I could back this up with HH's, I'm obv going to be derided with lolits10nl comments from people who don't play there anymore but I'm not bothered because I've been playing 10nl/16nl 6m all year, fish are still stacking off light ofc, but any taggy reggy half competent player isn't and I'm convinced that I've folded out QQ/AK by stacking big pairs over 4bets with 100bb regtypes

This is what I have found out as well, however I play deepstack so the rules do change significantly when it comes to stacking off pre-flop.

Also have a look at this sick hand:
Villain was playing 2 tables. Hand sample: 28. LAG stats on villain. I know stats are not too important with so few hands, even irrelevant.

Other two villains are complete fish.

I just thought that the villain was making a play for the pot, based on the idiot bet sizing of the fish in the pot. I don't see what monster hand he can have here, A/10 would bet turn I would think and he wouldn't check raise it so big with A/10 or a set. That's what I thought anyway. Maybe I should have raised it slightly more though or floated instead of just clicking back and taken it away on river when he probably checks.

really!?

I see stacking ranges as light as 99+ at 50 6m all day. I remember seeing people stack super light at 10, things such as AJo 77. Flatting 4b IP w/big pairs at 10nl just seems like FPS to me. Against certain regs who you know are going to be 3b light + cbet in a 3b pot, I can see it, but against your avg 10nl player it feels like risking the chance for stacks. I guess it makes sense if your 4b range is pure nuts like KK+, but I'd be surprised if the average player at 10nl is thinking beyond like " he raised me, uh oh" kind of thing. Again, against some regs, I could advocate for this, but in general, it just seems like a better thing to 4b/get it in.

I always hated flatting 4b's IP w/KK though bc lots of regs who are 3b light have hands that flop well against KK, (Axs) If A mashes flop, we have to fold like all the time bc regs can have us crushed with their air range + hands in their nut range :(

Edit: Obviously, I"m talking about 100 bb stacks here. In deep stack games, disregard anything I've posted itt :)

Grats Cafeman, now what? cashout or stay there?
----------

How Feb. end for everyone?.

I have a sad month on volume front, just 9k hands which is the worst since get back to play, previews 5 months load 20k+ hands each.:(

Results was meh, [4bi + /2nl], [3bi -/5nl] and [2bi +/10nl]. Ended barely on green and don´t cash on the only 235fpp satty that play. so no cashback also.
Positive is that end back on 10nl from which move down on Dic, so hopely March bring better things.

I think I played like 3k cash hands, 100ish SnGs, and like 3 CC freerolls lol. Played about 45 hours of live, so prob between 1k - 1.3k hands there haha... And I lost 1.8 BIs while doing it, so meh.

But tbf life has been kicking me in the arse in Feb. Hopefully I can actually start grinding some more in March!!

Stay there, it's too much fun to quit (seriously).

Last month was good on stars at 50, so the plan is to put in serious volume there, but carry on putting in the odd session here and there at 10NL on ipoker until I run it up to 25NL... and so on. Would be super cool to have a decent roll on a site I never deposited on.

Better go and check out Peelie's thread.

You should try to deposit even if is the min. on the dodgy site, that way avoid troubles if later want to cashout some. (Unless you can cashout without depositing which mostly sites don´t let you.)

Oh, and lol on the spoiler on peels thread.

QQ :)

I was tempted to shove the river vs this fish (I had about $11 behind) but thought I would be more likely to get a call with a 70% vbet, not sure now. I pretty much knew he had AA/QQ or Jx.

What, that no one can fold a FH? Also I'm not even sure villain SHOULD fold a FH that beats Jx here.

I think I prefer flatting preflop against a steal range on the button, unless he is calling resteals wide.

Don't lead the flop imo. Kinda face up not to bet, but he checks back all his PPs that we beat. Think x/c flop, x/f turn is fine against most opponents at 10nl, but others may disagree, since you mentioned the more aggro line-age.
