What if a live casino starts offering choice of cryptocurrency or cash as winning payment??

Would you run to the cashier with your chips or give a wallet address to the pit manager?

Cash for me.
Probably, the only running I'd do, is from the Casino and not look back.

I'm having a hard time finding anybody (in real life) who uses crypto. I'd also be really surprised to see anyone take crypto over cash at a brick and mortar casino. Why would you?

If the casino pays the Network fee then i would definitely accept certain crypto yes. Unlike the older generation here hehe 😀

If the casino covers the network fee, I can see why crypto would be tempting. Those fees can make a difference lol.

I definitly would not mind being paid in crypto, gamble again lol.
But it would depend on the amount won, what my plans were, and
how much cash I still had.

Essentially, a cryptocurrency casino differs from a regular one only in that the key payment instrument is digital coins, not fiat money.Otherwise, crypto gambling platforms are no different from regular online casinos: here you can find thousands of slots, roulette, and, for example, sports betting. This payment method allows players to bypass banks and various third-party payment systems, sending money directly to their account.

We're talking about live casinos here. Please read the OP.

At certain times, it could be more profitable, depending on the "Currency" price.
I'm sure you're familiar with how the Stock Market works.

If we are talking specifically about a live casino, I would prefer cash transactions. However, for online gaming, in my view, cryptocurrency is one of the best payment options.

The stock market - yes. Crypto - no. I don't ask to have my poker winnings deposited to my investment account. Even if I did, stock values are dependent on a lot of tangible factors. There is some whim involved, but valuations are based mostly on tangible things like business models, sales, assets, operations, etc. Crypto seems to be based entirely on whim.

I'm just not seeing it. Please help me understand.

Why would you want to bypass banks? The only reason I can think of would be fees, but as I understand it there are fees associated with using crypto as well. Plus, my bank balance doesn't go down with market trends/whims, but it can go down quite dramatically with crypto.

"Gamble again" - that I understand. Kind of like never actually leaving the casino. 😜

Sometimes I feel embarrassed about being such a novice when it comes to crypto... I'm following the comments here to learn little by little, at my own pace...

That’s not very important to me. The main thing is that I receive my winnings without delay, whether in cash or cryptocurrency doesn't really matter.

I am reluctant to deal in Crypto period. Give me the Cash ,Cash Beautiful Green Crisp Cash!! 😂. I saw my Brother Lose Value(Cash) in his crypto investment. I don't know a lot about the Crypto system to even think about accepting it as payment or winnings.
It would be my luck to buy chips with Crypto and by the time I get done in the casino the Crypto lost value while I played in the casino. So if i did win a certain amount I may have lost it at the crypto cash out window.😂. If thats possible? Do you have to cashout with the type currency you buy your chips with, Cash for cash , Crypto for Crypto? I lack knowledge on the Crypto currency scene. I really have no desire to learn anything about it. The initial Boom Crypto created is pretty much over according to folks i talk with.

Peace
Tony.

I still have problems dealing with crypto payments . I really don[ like [hem . Problem with my ewallet , man] problems I had with cryptocurrency till now . Many casinos accept only crypto . This sucks . But I [think many people like them and have cryptos , so maybe they would like the idea of a casino paying or accepting money in crypto .

Except, they are not as well regulated (at least the ones I've seen).

Live or online, I wouldn't want my winnings come in crypto. It is too big of a tax hassle when transferring them into FIAT.
