Let’s talk casino etiquette— What’s that one thing players do at the tables or slots that just drives you nuts? Whether it’s talking too much, being too loud, or just poor manners, spill the tea and share your funniest or most annoying casino etiquette fails!

I personally had horrible experience with few drunk yards being too rough with racist behaviour.. it was awful and me my friends left the place as soon as we could. They actually spoiled all our fun that night. 😒 don’t ask me more about this incident though, don’t wanna remember that night again.

Poor manners, especially when some people behave like there's nobody else around are among things that could annoy me, along with talking loudly.
But that said, I wouldn't leave the place just because of them. I might move somewhere else though, casinos are normally huge nowadays.

Exactly, poor manners is something I can’t cop up with. Actually, we left that day, coz there was girl in our group who felt extremely uncomfortable due to those drunk yards and she insisted to go elsewhere 😐

Yes completly agree on that. And still people do this probably more often than not as a lot of people are not self aware or just don't care.

I think casino etiquettes are in decline and that's a shame .
There was a time where you could only enter in suit with tie or cravatte...now any Hillbilly with shorts and shirt can enter

I think its always silly when players splash the pot in poker.

We get it that you are all in, but why make it hard on the dealer.

May be it’s their way of saying ‘I am going all in’ while praying inside/ hoping to win the pot… 🥱🥱 Definitely something that could be avoided though

I am annoyed by noisy players; they distract me from the game. In such cases, I simply leave and report the issue to the staff so that they can resolve it. If the issue cannot be resolved, I get up and move to another, more comfortable location.

Very good point made, sometimes all I need a peaceful atmosphere to grind.

Yeah definitely and I have been reading some funny stuff on another poker forum about people with no self-awareness. It's sometimes super gross what they do and they don't even realize it.

In most cases, I don't pay attention to those around me, except when they behave inappropriately. I don't like it when people make noise, shout or laugh loudly, it annoys me. And I try to avoid establishments where the staff doesn't pay attention to the abnormal behaviour of players.

I just try to be respectful, not very loud, and don't disturb people. So I demand the same from others. Also I avoid drunk people. Drives me nuts when people just can’t respect others.

for me, it’s gotta be people at blackjack tables who get mad at other players for playing their hand wrong. like bro, it's my money, if I want to hit on a 16 against a dealer 6, that's my choice. stop blaming everyone else for your own bad variance and blowing up at the table like a child lmao.

Sorry you had to go through that. For me, it's people blaming the dealer for every bad hand or standing way too close while I'm playing. A little respect goes a long way.

To be honest, I haven't seen anyone at the casino whose behavior didn't conform to etiquette and generally accepted rules. But I certainly condemn any displays of aggression toward other players.

Noisy drunks annoy me. Sometimes such "specimens" come across that it is simply impossible to be near them.

In what casino do you play mostly? What's the legal age for gambling in India?

I think casinos are pretty well managed nowadays . There are cameras everywhere and floor men watching as well . Drunks and loudmouths are told to quiet down . Some of the poker regulars get away with being rude to the dealers and opponents though .
